Seems Ford is struggling to get the Mach E out the door in May. With the price war with Tesla, they seem to be losing. Which will occur in Australia as well unless they urgently revise pricing before deliveries.

According to Ford Authority, a website dedicated to Ford news, the company produced 11,858 Ford Mach-E crossovers in April and produced 19,599 Mach-Es in the first four months of 2023, meaning the drop in sales isn’t caused by a supply constraint but rather demand issues.

I don't think Ford have ever "revised" pricing before release on anything....and I struggle to think of anyone that has before release as well...which you might rightly conclude means if you revise after release you've burned the initial buyers and then raise questions in buyers minds of why have you dropped pricing so soon after release?

Which is why they need to do it before first deliveries.

Model Y just dropped another $3500 making it almost $20k cheaper than the same spec Mach E in Australia!! As a comparison, in the US, they are within a couple of thousand of one another.

They'll have no stock, be $20K above the competitors, then discontinue it because apparently Australia doesn't want Ford EVs
