as much as i dislike holden i think this is great news especially the manufacturing side of it as alot more jobs are now secure for hard working aussies. and for that i applaud holden for giving it a go.

To give you an idea of capacity, during 2004 Broady was making 520 cars a day 6 days a week, its now doing 209 4 days a week. Thats a hell of a lot of excess capacity, and Broady could have built more cars in 2004 but was constrained by I6 supply that was near maxed out. Now that diesel and EB4 are also available Broady could build more if need be and not be constrained by I6 supply. But I guess its all irrelevant now. |

So, maybe Export 20,000 S/C GT Falcons to the USA for US$35,000 each....

Maybe this is a foot in the door thing , in the long term the tooling to be sent to US and the line replaced in Adelaide
