If you can get a standard XR6 into the high 14's (Read the sig from this member... Here), with all the usual mods in a BF 6 speed auto you should get down into the low 14's/high 13's.

And I also swear I read someone on here doing a 14.8 in a BF 6 speed auto, standard.

Interesting, I have went against swan before though and he's is faster on takeoff but mine catches up on him. We will just have to wait till the night, no doubt if neo has headers n such he will prob beat me but saying if he doesn't it is a toss up I would say on which goes faster.

im thinking mid to high 14's for the ZF's.....the Bf's are a much better car than the BA.....but then again getting it into the 14's would need a pretty good driver so not ever ZF xr6 is gonna run in the 14's.....just like stock turbo's and 8's can get into high 13s, but u gotta be a damn good driver to do it.....

yeh they do have a lot better engine and gearbox than ba's so wouldn't surprise me I think swan wuld pull mid 14's around 14.5 with the mods he has, however a stock one yeh I would be saying maybe 14.9 seconds but you would have to be a dam good driver lol

Im not sure what ill run, anything under 15 flat will make me happy. I ran my old mans Terry Turbo with a ZF a few months back and got a 14.7 and i had never driven a car at the drags before. i left it in sports auto. with a bit of luck ill have headers before the 31st. if not i can compare times. underdrive might be on before hand.

no idea you will be first zf to run along with neo if you do run so guessing on times is just that - guessing :P especially with mods you got you should see atleast minimum I think mid 14's

I bought myself a helmet today. I'm all ready to go racing!

I'll be bringing my girlfriend who is a Holden fan - (she can't be 100% perfect!) and maybe her father with his SS ute.

Seeing the times that you are running with 6's, I can't wait to see what time I will get. Originally I was thinking around the 15 sec. mark. But now I'm thinking low to mid 14's. I wanted to run my car without any mods, but hey, I can't resist.

id say you'll run closer to a low 14, high 13 with your car and your mods...

Although, I was looking at the spec's on utes and I noticed that they are heavier than the sedans. And I also have a hard cover, sports bar, and spoiler......more weight!!!

But to top it off, I have just developed a clunk in the rear today. Sounds like the diff's clunking. I've heard that the mounting bolts get loose, I'll have to get under the car tomorrow and have a look.

For those of you that have been at Willowbank before, I was just wondering, on average, how many runs do you get down the track?

That sounds like a lot of waiting on a bad night for only approx 75 seconds of racing!

Lets hope for at least a good night on sat.

Yeah I can't wait either. After buying my helmet, my GF said "so we really are going racing?" Dam right!

I've been racing at willowbank before, but that was a long time ago. Before they had built the grandstand all the way down the track. Just worked out that it was about 14 years ago.....Dam!

Yeah the Ute's are 40kg heavier than the Sedans.
I found this out last week at Willowbank when I ran against the Green Monty.

The Fairmont ran a 15.977, Driver was 55kg, skinny little begger & the RTV ran 16.008, me 107kg. Nearly 100kg difference all up, thank god for a few mods.

guys i won't be able to come this saturday, my fuel pump is on its way out so i'll be doing the injectors and fuel pump sometime in the next couple of weeks. once finished i should be making around 280rwkw when retuned, but i can't risk taking the car down the 1/4 with a dodgy fuel pump
