Last one from me... To be honest, EA2BA's one with the EA facing the right so far looks the best IMO, but i've done another one. After this one, me and my lack of graphic design skill will retire and not hurt your eyes any more.

In regards to cars lined up, I did quick bit of playing around and about 7 or 8 cars would make a nice line up and the pic would not be to small to make the models hard to work out. We could have them in colour at the back, but the black and white seems to work better I think.

So who else has a logo , must be some other people out there with some talent.

eb2ba... i was just looking at your logo... how about just 1 car from each end of the scale... like 1 EA or maybe an EB XR6 on one end and then an EL XR on the other... or maybe both in the centre. Very much like you've already done. Just an idea.

Josh.

Should my logo get chosen, I am open to a vote/input on final design, thats is IF I see quite a few others I would vote for.

can you 'shop' that same design for us with the 'E' in a lighter 'mid ' blue colour? and another with the whole logo in a lighter "mid" blue? it think you will find it will offset the logo and cars better.

My plan is to drop the background car images for a sticker so be easy to print, at the same time can be layered with car images to make a very nice logo for the web/club web page

I'd like to see something similar to the Ford logo. No crappy graffiti fonts please!

Just remember this rule of design:
Quote:
- Designs that incorporate other trademark logos (eg ford oval) should be avoided if at all possible, unless designer is prepared to arrange for the rights to reproduce the trademarked logos for club usage.

Your is okay for the "LOGO" but for a "sticker" which would be stuck on back window I would rather something very similar to big petes, thats if big petes doesnt get chosen for logo as well , of course the weird looking Z would be changed

Well with most things the same font/layout should be used as consistently as possible for ease of recognition, maybe Big Petes font etc over the top of my background, happy to share photoshop files to get what we want.

If you put to much detail into the "logo" a "sticker" wont look right if you go with the same font, keep it simple like the above clubs have

Club logo's and stickers are 2 seperate items....
As mentioned before the logo needs to be easy to identify, without being overly busy. As DrHemi is saying Keep it Simple!!!.
No offence intended but a couple of the submissions so far whilst looking pretty cool would have a hyped up caffeine addicted squirrel strugling to decipher it all. Most successful logo's incorporate no more then 3 basic elements, including any text..

Small, wordy logos are not a good idea. You have to be able to read the writing from a reasonable distance. Think Ford, Coke, Apple etc.

I was hoping the sticker will be a plain white vinyl cut out as per normal, anything that's a solid blockout like above no offence, wont be going on my car.

Adrenaline: Can you make the OZ bigger no line underneath and extend the E to be part of the line and it still run accross the bottom of the words. that make sense

P.S. I think we need a tag line so people know its about 88-98 fords and NOT just a cruise club like VSS or something.
