Theres no way the buldge is rice. If someone wants it on there magna or commodore then they just become stupid.
I would find it a little insulting if someone came up to me and started calling my car a ricer.
The buldge is a ford thing and there are some really nice au's xr6's etc kicking around this forum which look really good and id be proud to own any of them.
The buldge being rice is one of the stupidest things ive heard.

I like the bulge on the XR8 it looks tough I wouldn't put one on my XR6.

I also love the sound of the BOSS family be it in an XR or an FPV. I didnt start the XR8 vs XR6 Turbo part of the thread I just responded. But the truth is out there for the street where 99.9% of us drive, and stock from the show room the XR6 Turbo is better handling all round performance car than the XR8. Its great to see the XR8 did well and as a Ford fan that makes me happy.

Again the bulge looks hot... but its not for my XR6.

I agree, that sure does look with those rims. Are they the Koya's. I love those rims. Really suits well, with the roll bar and the hard cover. Seems well balanced

I remember the days when the bonnets from the 250 Cortina's were being stolen so the guys with 4cyl Cortina's could look tough. I bet the same debate went on in the pubs back in those days.

I don't think so. I think that people respected other peoples pride and joy and didn't come out and bag them like people do on these forums. It's so easy to sit back and critise without looking in your own back yard. There was such a thing as respect, but these days people are too quick to throw around a word like rice and slander people. I think peoples peddlestool's are getting too high. Just like their incomes. I think it's reffered to as elitism. As enthuasists, we should respect other enthusiasts and what they have done to their cars. If ya don't like it, don't look at it.

They are Koya Number 1. Not sure if that is the technical name for them, but it has a 1 next to it in the brochure

If it's got a bulge, then it should have a shaker poking through it as well.

Just my personal opinion but I wouldnt put the bonnet bulge on anything other than a boss engined car, and I wouldnt get GT stripes on a xr8 or xr6 etc. I wouldnt put a shaker on my boss either, lest i undermine the heritage of the gtho. Having said all this i have nothing against people putting bonnets, stripes and shakers wherever they want on their car (except for the commodores with ba bonnet bulges, burn them!!!), i just wouldnt do this myself.

Your allowed to disagree, so if I put a set of GT wheels on my F6 and leave the stock bonnet this would be ok?
