Us overnighters have arrived, and checked in. It's raining up here, so no cleaning going on. Watching qual at Tassie instead.

Got 4 cars up here already. Jim dropped out for family matters.

Bring jacket/long pants. Forecast is for 17c and possible rain.

Thunderbolt, mate I'm camped with outlaws at North Syd, had a chance to wash and do a little detailing between showers, car is under cover but all the good work will be undone at 7.30 in morn when i head to The Creek. Looking around other threads it seems the AFD will be on rain or shine. Had 12mm of rain out here, but only about 4 at Penrith. So heres hoping the rain buggers off overnight.

Cheers Barnesy

Nice to meet you for the first time.

I had a bit of a laugh returning after that long walk to retrieve my car to see your car parked a suburb away from the gutter. Nice job. I have a photo :dr_Evil:

We left at 10.30, stopped at Campbelltown for some lunch. Back out on the road about 12. We got back about an hour ago.

You can pick up some good BA XR6T's mid low teens. Slightly flogged but a good base for mods.

Hey Buckie, did you see the holden in the middle of the freeway on your way back?

He was in the middle... stuck in a tree, looks like he went a bit sideways, and lost it, and the end result was one lane closed and a pretty messed up car...

Well I've just made it home. Probably last of everyone, as I had an extended stop at Marulan, waiting for another friend to catch up.

What a weekend. Rain on the way up, rain overnight, dry for long enough to dry the cars, and then rain again. But that was the only dampener of the weekend.

New people to meet, existing club members, and dozens of people from the Sydney based clubs as well. No idea how many hands I shook.

I liked EC as a venue, although having cars on the main straight was a PITA, once out there, you've got the length of the pit to walk before you can get back. Parking on concrete was a godsend today.

Congrats to our GT(-P) owner who took home a trophy. There was some confusion amongst us, as we all heard them announce the winner as a GT-P, but none of us heard the plates properly, but the parts heard didn't match mine (and it wasn't wearing plates all day).

Our new club shirts need to be waterproof.

Pics to come...

Thanks it was a bit of a shock, we were sort of walking by the presentation and Billy asked to watch. That boy has ESP. Cheers Craig

I did. Looked pretty bad. It must have just happened before we got there because their was only a firetruck in attendance. Rural fire service truck.

Hope no-one was killed.

Congrats Craig on your win. Your car is definitely a worthy of a trophy. Well done.

Day job pays too good.

As always, hi-res shots of your cars are available, just ask me (and have an email account that can take ~4MB sized attachments).
