What is the go with this show now, started out good with plenty of action in the first episode, now it has turned into a talk fest for the first 20mins and 5mins of car action, hopefully it will get better but it has got alot worse just over 2 episodes.

Agreed.. Its beginning to get boring really fast... The way they are going by the time we get to the last challange there will be 29minutes of talking (about the past challenges and who have one them) and only a few minutes of the new challenges...

First 10 mins was a recap of what has happened so far, then a few mins of 'action' if you can call it that, then the rest was waffling on about the 'action' with a turtle wax infomercial jammed in again for good measure. Waste of airtime and viewing time.

I'd love to know how those guys got onto the show. None car drive a car fast, except for the Torana in the drags. The rest are a bit useless. I think they would get a flogging at any car club day.

The falcon owner just wants to fry up the tyres any chance he has. Looks great, but it's not a burnout comp.

Such potential, such as disappointment ....

The 4th episode was a bit better, they showed all the drivers go through Luffy's driver training centre (after Luffy bagged the crap out of all of them for there poor driving), but the highlight was the rich guy with the Ferrari asking if he can buy the V8 Ford Fairlane lol.

I am so over this show now. It stated off good but now it is all waffle and I agree with others comments. The guys on that show can't drive and they have all proved that in every episode to date!!

Luffy is hard to watch and with him in the passenger seat yell stuff at you would get old real quick .
Plus the show itself has lots of potentinal but obvisouly put together by people who have no idea about the car watching public they just seem to know that the USA car shows recieve great ratings on Foxtel and want to cxash in as well but obvisouly did no real home work themselfs .
The peolpe the have on the show are realy bad stereo type car people as well (hey baby check out the chrome on the bumber maate sick donk mate just to much power ) .
The other thing thats hard to swallow is the host driving around talking into a camera .
What I trying to say I have it on but don't realy watch it

Yeah is it a sign of the intellegance of the competitors that the course was about 60 metres long n they only had to go around three cones even then one of them went the wrong way . This show is full of disapointment for me :togo:

Yep I am afraid it has gotten worse again, this would have been a great show had they thought about the format a little better.

I have to agree. Maybe give them a half hour on a circuit somewhere (ie Eastern Creek etc). Most number of laps within the allocated time is the winner - oh , and they are all on track at the same time (just to mix things up a bit).

That would be funny but the ricers would win cos the other guys EGOES would get in the way

I have to get it of my chest but the bloke that drives the Vette is a total !!! Keeps using his car as an excuse for his total lack of driving ability.
Dimitri and Mohamed a good for a laugh. His coment that there should be a sign at the end of the go to whoa saying " stop here" shows he can take the out of himself.

Yep.

Did you see him whinge when it got announced he was disqualified?

Bloody sook, and I thought he was alright at first. The others are there just to have a bit of fun, but Dom is acting like this is some prestigious cup, or something.

tony i agree with you %100 id rather watch an episode of pinks or a repeat of american hotrod, though the show is designed to see what car is the best all rounder would have been nice to see em popping tyres in the burnout comp at springnats, i bet the ferrari woulda blown an engine even the imports the gt would have blown em out of the water thier. but its 4 or 5 eps in and i will watch till the end and if they have a season 2, for me to keep watching they better have an xd or better an xe.
