Was a great cruise, met a few people.
Roads where great. Was a little frustrating however to sit behind slow vehicles who refuse to use the shoulders designed to let faster cars past. Hence the many signs suggesting "Use provided shoulders to allow faster vehicles to overtake". But other than that issue was a great view, great roads, great fun!

I hope i'm not the only one to say; we turned heads for the right reasons.

Funniest moments of the day:
1# Dog + Sausage
2# VN Commo wgn

Did get a couple of pics, and some videos of in car driving; however due to passengers holding the camera, it makes you feel like a bouncy ball. And Vids wont be posted up :(

Gratz to John (EFFalcon) on a great cruise, and awsome car !

As all have said, it was a good day - well organised and well run - thanks to the organisers and the BBQ cooks...apologies to LTDHO and SnyperEB for having to put up with 'sick-boy' on the way home...feeling much better now (minus some sleep) - should be down this way again next weekend (in some capacity) for the dyno day.

Surfcoast TMU are not known for their leniency. Was the guy alright to you? I see the surfcoast TMU guys on a daily basis.

I got harrassed the other night for being stopped on the side of the road talking on my phone! Got asked why i was stopped on the side of the road at 10pm, headlights still on, left indicator on. Talk on you phone while driving and get pulled over, pull over and still get hassled! They like their presence to be felt.

I looked in the mirror and saw him at the back of the pack just after i'd wayyyy crossed double lines, half expected him to pick through the line and have me. Then i noticed your car gone.

Not a good way for you to end your day. Makes for a pricey cruise too!

Surfcoast TMU are ball breakers, I've had my fair share with them one particular night, I too was pulled over on the phone, lights on indicators on, he walks up to the car... I open the window and take my seat belt off... he grabs my arm and pulls me up through the window! I had a full car load of witnesses too, you can complain but who's going to believe you?

Good to see everyone had a good day, maybe next year's cruise I'll be boosted!

Was heading back from apollo bay thru the otways one time towards lavers hill and rounded a corner and had to swerve off the road cos one of these ******** cops was trying to overtake on a blind corner... karl was behind me and can verify how close it was... bunch of ******* the cops up that way....

well 473km's travelled in my EA, 1/2 a tank (so the guage says), and 10.1k's/100 at the end of the trip, been running at 13/14k's/100 lately, so was very nice, figured I would have to fill up to get home. Spent most of the cruise on idle through the twisty stuff or on the brakes, if pick the correct line you gain speed around the corners

So glad I put in new front shocks, car felt more like a car then a boat, was able to push it to the limit, nearly passed it a few times, but thats the fun of it.

What a great day... I didn't get home untill 9:30pm :P

Pearly, sorry about the dust shower : that wasn't intentional...

I covered 550k's through the day, and only on one tank! The funny thing, is that my average fuel consumption dropped... funny what a fang through the GOR road will do...

I've got plenty of pics, so they'll go up later tonight.

And now nobody can doubt the power of functional SLS...:P EFXTC can vouch for the handling of the Fairlane lol... bodyroll + 15" wheels and 1.7 tons of steel isn't a good combination, but it went pretty damn well considering...

We left Apollo Bay before the main group, but we stopped of at places to take some "pretty" pictures of the veiw and whatnot, and just so happened to spot EFFalcon and Efgiar cruising home... and also the copper that got him... needless to say I got pics :P I'll post them up later

Well I still have SLS although its been set to about LOW height, but that with king Lows at the front and gabriel lowered front shocks I must say I dont think my car rolled too much, but with new rear shock towers coming, should be a better ride again for next year.

Standard height and SLS I know how that feels, a little scary and always on edge, but some how the car holds on.
