The new one is an extra $11K without any performance options backed by warranty?

Hook, line and sucker

Ford is trying to be VW, like Honda was trying to be Toyota emulating the white goods manufacturing.

Should be much cheaper in the real world.

My cousin just picked up a second hand WZ ST for $12K DA - 103,000KM on the clock.

That's a bargain, that's two of them in our family now

Seems WG model is around $36K DA but no one has actual stock it's just generic photos on carsales and a couple demos at $33K DA

Happy new year all as well.

I bought the latest ST for $35,000 D/A.

As it standard comes out with 147kw and 290 nm, I think it standard produced more power and torque than the WZ ST with stage 1 Mountune performance package.

So the latest ST is $1,500 more than the earlier ST with Mountune stage 1 perf package, with mechanical Quaiff diff, B&O sound, velour recaros, nicer interior, better ride, wider track, seems pretty good value to me for extra $1,500.00.....

Fair enough- seems OEM power goes to the WZ ST then with Mountune package.

But I am curious, did that package come with a mechanical diff, velour recaros, and decent sound?

No, but it makes more power and torque has 3 doors like a proper hot hatch

Have you driven a WZ ST before? Sound is decent and it also has Recaro seats, no I don't particularly care if they're cloth, velour, leather or made from human skin, my sweaty fat *** sits on it for hours at a time and I can't feel what material it's made out of through my boxers and pants, though I haven't driven it completely naked (yet).

Mechanical LSD would be nice though so that's probably the only thing that would be nice, though our WZ doesn't torque steer too badly and it still handles like a go-kart.

Yeah the I20N looks interesting, wonder if it'll come in at low $30K DA to undercut the Fiesta ST.

Doubt it but will ay least give some competition and bargaining power when it comes to buying time!
