Just thinking that the meeting spot for everyone could be the Movie World Car Park? There was a turn off just after that to the mountain if correct. Just a thought.

Run sheet will be done soon.

Date will be Sunday 21st meeting around 10am, which we will drive up to Mt Tamborine, people can go for walk around, lunch , possible photo shoot of cars, then finishing around 3.00

more details to come shortly, this is just a quick idea of what is going on, if anyone has other ideas on what we can do on the cruise let us know?

Im in no problems (unless i get a job between now and the cruise and they want me to work on a sunday) LOL ,won't take a job like that.
If you want a cruise with hills and bends go from mt Tambo to springwood then out to the hiway :party3: AU XR8 for the 22nd mine is on the 14th

11.00am - Departure to Mt Tamborine
11.20 ish - Arrive at Mt Tamborine
11.30 - Go for a walk around and do some sight seeing
12.30 -Lunch
2.30 -Depart Mt Tamborine heading to springwood then to highway and home

What to bring:
Food you can either have a BBQ or just bring a picnic, drinks, hats, cameras, walking shoes, chairs, footy, CBS

We will try and do a shoot of the cars when we get to the mt if there is a good area for this.

Hope this looks ok to you all? We will need someone to be the leader, so if you know the way to the Mt and back the springwood way we will need you to lead?

i dont know of any BBQ areas but there is plenty of winerys there , i dont know of any where good to do a photo shoot or play ball ,but its a nice drive and someone else may know of some where to do these things.
You can get a good red wine at the scarecrows wineary and a good turkish bread and three dips from a wineary down the road .
this is all i know after 5 trips up the hill and i still love every trip up there .

I have never been up there, just assumed that there would be a place to sit etc.

Well I guess then if people are intereted we go for the drive and on the way down stop at the wineary and have a snack rather than taking food. What does everyone else think about this??

Murphy's law I have Saturday off but will be working all day Sunday. Unfortunately I can't make it. Have a good cruise & hopefully i can make the next one.
