Default Ford man

Grew up with fords in the blood, and id say that I will always be a blue blood. My eldest brother bought an original XB GT Coupe in yellow and black. With wide *** rubber and low as dog poo on the grass. Absolutely loved it, came down mount Vic for the first time when he bought it, dam fun ,hooked ever since. Then of course I bought a XA Coupe for myself, thats when I was a young fella. Now I have the FG Xr6 and love it. Be a blue blood till I die.

Man i havent actually thought about how i became a ford fan at all really lol...I think i became a ford fan back in high school around 1999 i had a mate who was into fords and a mate who was into holdens, anyway i think i was watching the V8supercars on TV for the first time with my holden mate..and i just like the look of the DJR shell helix racing AU falcon, and asked my mate "is the shell helix car a ford?" he replies "yeah it is" my response - "ahh okay, I like Ford then" LoL

I've never been a diehard Ford fan per se but I've always been a big Mustang fan.

When I was orn, Mum and Dad had 2 cars. A Mk2 Cortina and an XP. Mum tossed the Corty arseup into a tomato farm so we went shopping for a new car. I was 3 and chose the Green with White stripes XB GT Sedan, Dad picked the Brown XY Fairmont, we drove home in the Fairy.

That was the end of my family's association with Fords. Off they went with a succession of Nissans, totaling 6 from 200B to Maxima's.

My first Ford was a 69 Capri, then a Galaxie, 2 XC's, and XE, XF, EA, EB, ED, and my current AU.
Dad has come back, firstly with a BA and an EB work hack, and now another BA Futura.

I have had other Makes, but choose not to speak of them!

I think it started the day I went with dad to pick up the new Magna in 1989 and both of us had tears in our eyes as we drove off looking back at the XA 500 V8 (owned since new in 73) that he traded in. I can still remember driving it at age 8 or less sitting on dad's lap. That sound was so good - even my mum liked the sound of it and she has no interest in cars at all.
