Seriously...
To be an proper "Ford Person" i reckon your first car had to be a Ford and you need own one currently (daily driver or weekender). Someone that switches over because the brand bettered another in a certain class or they had to drive it cos Uncle Warren vomited in the back and no one wanted it probably earn different monikers... Ford By Assessment, or say Ford By Force for example.

when i was younger, my aunty had an xt falcon. v8, unsure of what engine cc. but it was so cool looking and sounding. and when i was about 7-8 years old, craig lowndes was racing the 000 AU V8SC. with the wicked black on silver colour scheme and those menacing green headlights. ever since that moment ive wanted an AU, and when i got enough money i bought one. plus, theres so many ****wits in my area with POS vk-vl commos and skylines. they drive my hatred for holden and ricers lol.

The first impression i had of cars was a XC GS Falcon 302 Auto. I was a little kid and always liked the sound and red colour. |

I always say this, but EF, lol.
Especially when you put a VR next to an EF and remember that the VR is based on an Opel (good company yeah, but not Australian).

My Uncle had a 107E Prefect and a 105E Anglia, my Dad at one time had a 51 Twin Spinner. My first car was a 1952 Austin and then a prcession of Vauxhalls a few holdens and then my 1st Ford was an XY Fairmont in 1973, have loved them ever since.
It also helps that I have worked for Ford dealers for 12 years. |

Ford Defect was one that was commonly used, and in the car clubs the most common vernacular of the name was Ford Prefuct. This mind you was what it was being called over 60 years ago and that kind of language was never appropriate back then. My dad's prefect was always breaking down, and it once he sold it the new owner had owned it for about a week before he rolled it.
