Could be worse, like thd guy about a year or so ago that pulled up next to me in the AluminaTTor and dropped the window "... Mate putting twin turbo badges on it won't make it go faster, just go buy an XR6 turbo if you wanna go fast!...."

Nothing wrong with that idea. I've done it with a couple of my cars, where the badges don't match the engine capacity. People then get a shock the car goes better that what the badge indicates

Have to say... Wouldn't a Captiva with Chevy badges actually make sense? Considering they're made by GM Korea (Daewoo) and sold as Chevrolets in every other market they're sold in, just like every other GM Korea car sold in every other market? (Barina, Cruze, Malibu, Spark, etc.)

Don't know if it's worth getting upset over, but I have had a few laughs at some funny badging and plates on cars.

I've seen a VN with a big RALLIART sticker across the windsheild.
another commie with an "SP23" badge
Another commie with "NISMO"decals.
about 10,000 chev badges (apparently they had 100hp)
I've seen a charade with a nissan GTR badge.

To be fair, I took the SCT badge from my flash tuner and stuck it on the Daewoo lanos I used to own for S's and giggles.

I actually owned an LH Sunbird with the abysmal OHC "black: Opel motor in it, and the Opel symbol was all over it...the fan, the air cleaner, the tin tappet cover, etc.

Not in my opinion.

I dislike things that don't belong, like bonnet buldges on 6's, and FPV badges on non FPV models, fake Clubsport kits on Executives etc.

Used to be a few VL's around with little "Nismo" badges or stickers on them...not always with ****y reasons. One I recall was a reasonably plain looking yellow VL we saw at a show once. It didn't really smack you in the eye, no body mods, but lowered nicely on a set of black Interceptor 16" steel rims and low profile tyres, tinted windows, and a largish Nismo sticker across the top of the windscreen. Oh how we laughed! Then someone said "Wait...is that a big intercooler behind the front bar?", then the guy popped the bonnet...
Yes, the sticker was there for a reason...Little known fact that most other Nissan six cylinders drop virtually straight into a VL...like the RB26DETT out of an R32 Skyline...

But I was a kid so I suppose it's alright.

Hmm lets see.

Rego = NOREG.

Computerised speed cameras etc. get confused.
Paperwork from brown bombers and other private or public rent-a-cops is misfiled.
Hand written T.O.N.s get misfiled.
Automatic type finders in data systems will tend to delete entries.
Do gooder "dob in a hoon" systems will not accept the data or at least misinterpret it.

Ever heard the term "Hiding in plain sight".........
