Not really, you have to be reasonably tech savvy to be able to get everything sorted to connect. Most of the net users are cabbage heads and tor and all it involves is a bit beyond them.

doesn't anyone see the parallels here between that and totalitarian regimes that the west denounces?

as long as we continue to vote in parrots, we will continue to have to fight stuff like SOPA.
Based upon what others are saying, I started to think that this was about trying to bring totalitarianism one step closer in the western world. We can't let that happen.
