Wow, what a mess they left for you.
So sorry for you that you've been the victim of someone's thoughtlessness. I parked my BA XR8 ute in the street so I could mow the lawns a few months back. I left the car there until after dark. Was only then I saw that someone had keyed it all down the drivers side and bonnet. My beautiful black duco that I spend so much time keeping clean and being careful where I park when out, etc. I was livid! And it felt so personal because the car was right out the front of home. We live in a court for godsake, hardly anyone walks past. But it only takes one ****** to ruin your car. I really can't believe an assessor would look your damage and consider a repair. That is a lot of work, too much really. And as far as your concern about being left with a repaired car due to cheap quotes, don't you have the option of choosing which panel shop will be doing the work?? |

This is totally disgusting, sorry to see this and hope your replacement works our well.
One thing's for sure the low-life that did this are totally gutless losers with no place in society - these criminals will be in gaol sooner or later for sure!

Yeah it went straight from my place to repairer and he had a look at it and did a few quick sums and he knocked it back as a total loss so it didn't make it off the truck. It's sitting at AAMI's yard waiting on quotes from other repairer's apparently. |

Got word this arvo that its a write off.
Cannot fault AAMI at all, was 3 days from claim lodgement to decision, should be settled by the end of the week apparently. Now onto shopping for a new set of wheels. |
