now heres a thought . it is only the BA that ever came out with wheels that looked worthy of not vomiting all over them so think . same shape small differances. badging .slight interior changes . and better wheels to give them more appeal . and then the top end versions more visual appeal .

While talking about new models or updates etc i was doin some browsing and found this interesting thread about the VE commodore.

This was a particularly interesting post well to me anyways.

Quote:
he 297kw 6.0l will be in the VE. The HSVs will be keeping the LS2 but they will be upping the power to 350kw with 600nm of torque. the reason they cant have more power yet is because the VT chassis is to weak. the VE can handle upto 750kw no problems. they are already testing a 6.7l LS2. also don't believe the new ve pics they are wrong. just wait and see.
I think 350kw is a bit too much to expect but it would be damn cool. Would have to give Ford something to think about.

Lot's of negative thoughts about 1 black and white picture that was scanned from a news paper.
Maybe we should wait until we see the whole car, before we pass jugment.
Or drive one.

The Holden or the Ford?

The new Pathfinder has 190kw. A lot of smaller cars have nearly as much power as well. Ford needs to get the 6 into the 200kw + region, but still keep fuel efficiency etc. How do they do this? Buggered if I know, but other manufacturers can do it (from smaller capacity motors), so Ford should be able to.
