Ah if only there was an fgx GT. That's the best fgx rear end I think I've seen so far.

Finally been told that my smoke manual xr8 (ordered in October 2014) is slated for a May 15 build. Probably late May/June delivery.

Also told that there will be no further allocations of manuals...guys wanting manuals better hunt down dealers with free manual allocations....

Anyway, pretty excited, to make sure my driving is up to speed in preparation for the xr8 (and cause I feel excited like I was when 18 and getting my first car) took my Honda Euro manual with quarter of a tank of fresh 98 premium around a uhmm local circuit, understeer everywhere, gutless up the hill straight, left hand fast sweeper chronic understeer, and then the brakes started going off....

Did this circuit in a M3 manual with the 4 litre v8 which made the nether regions tingle, the Honda was so underwhelming in power....the Xr8 cannot come soon enough....

You might find the FG DJR Bobtail and FG G6E Turbo bob tail will also fit as the FGX boot lid profile seams to be nearly the same as FG give or take a 1/4 mm here and there.

Just buy a spare bootlid fit one with a wing and change them over at will.

Just put a deposit down on a winter white manual XR8.

Last one the dealership had in their 2015 allocations, apparently.

Due sometime towards the end of this year.

Images captured by CarAdvice’s spy photographers suggest a high-power Ford Falcon Ute could be in the works before the Blue Oval brand retires the iconic nameplate in 2016.
Fitted with an FPV front end from the defunct Ford Performance Vehicles arm that ceased manufacturing in 2014, the Ute carries a V8-style bonnet bulge, along with blacked out wheels.

You reckon they would do a bigger ute than the GTF Pursuits? It would seem to me that if they were going to do that they would've done it then. Possibly just journo's grasping at straws.

Dust off the camouflage.
I'm sure a High powered Falcon ute would be more exciting than a FWD Chinese Commodore anyway.

Hmmm might hit the subscription button again......though I'd prefer to see a F6 style ute and some work done to make the front and rear look more physically comfortable with each other

Quite clearly a proving ground work ute judging by the tray and push bar on the front.

They have got this way wrong if they thing this is some sort of prototype, as we all know they have killed the idea of a V8 ute.

Hey,
They are very old shoots as the pics don't have the new wire fence in the back ground.
