Not really, screw that hold the pin came off. Pin came out on one side. One good shove and $30,000 worth of damage. Quite easy really.

I think you will find that everything from the firewall back is a VK or VL, and the front is from a VX or VY.

Picked up this VL commodore for wrecking yesterday. Was driven daily until recently - owner decided to get rid of to get some beer money for the 2nd grand final. Took it for a test drive to check out the gearbox and couldn't hear it over the brakes grinding. This is what I found when I ripped off the LHF wheel:

i thought that to be normal holden quality assurance , would have given more brownie points if they did the back aswell.
