They are not slicks. Slicks do not have grooves - hence their name.

they're ET street radials, not slicks They're semi-slick

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial

but close enough anyway, next challenge?

They don't mention that they are slicks on the website, but aren't they just radial street slicks ?
Only reason I'm asking is because even their full slicks are referred to as drag radials, and not "slicks".
http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...m=ETDragRadial
Also everyone I know that runs them calls them slicks.

EDIT: Ok they might be semi-slicks like you said above .. I dunno!

EDIT x 2: Found an old pic of my car with full slicks next to it. The rim wouldn't fit over the rear brakes.

Next: Your car doing something that it shouldn't normally be doing

Great looking tyres by the way!

Didn't mean to cause a stir. My thoughts on slicks always meant 'treadless' to me. Even though slicks have more grip than any 'road' tyre, they are not roadworthy because they have no tread and cannot dissipate any water. The tyres you show above have grooves that constitute tread - hence they are roadworthy tyres - not slicks. Make sense? My take on a slick anyway,

Stu
