Not really, screw that hold the pin came off. Pin came out on one side. One good shove and $30,000 worth of damage. Quite easy really.

I think you will find that everything from the firewall back is a VK or VL, and the front is from a VX or VY.

Needed a bit more effort if you ask me. Seems like an awful lot of shocking panel gaps. Look at where the front guard meets (or doesn't meet) the front corner of the bonnet. I'd be willing to forgive them if its still a work in progress.

Picked up this VL commodore for wrecking yesterday. Was driven daily until recently - owner decided to get rid of to get some beer money for the 2nd grand final. Took it for a test drive to check out the gearbox and couldn't hear it over the brakes grinding. This is what I found when I ripped off the LHF wheel:
