Magpie in the Mazda, hit the only patch of front end that wasn't a light, which was about size of a numberplate. Feathers every where. Dog in Dad's 2 day old Rav4. Tapped way to many 'Roos in the Suby, nick named 'Roo Magnet. Wife collected the back of a VZ Commodore in the Verada. $2500 worth of damage to the VZ, bent number plate on the Verada.

Hit a koala at 100km/h coming back from Phillip Island one New Year's. Lots of cars heading out. The car in front hit it, then I ran over it. Probably got hit again by the car following. I'd like to think it died quickly.

Apart from that, scraped the brick wall at home (the garage entrance was offset a foot or so from the house) and backed into a horizontal branch in a parking bay because I could see the main branch, but not the pruned branch sticking out.

I haven't hit anything, but I nominate the common dove as the champion animal retard.

Driving up my street and this dove is just sitting on the road. I didn't slow down initially because I thought it would see the car, then fly away. I almost drove over the stupid thing, and then stopped (I don't like killing anything, except wasps and mosquitoes). It then flew away.

Frustrating.

lets see...... in 9 months owning the sprint there's been
wildlife:
about 8 galahs, 2 rabbits, couple of dozen cane toads, 3 cats and nearly hit a gorgeous cavalier king charles spaniel on christmas eve, stopped, grabbed him and carried him back to his owners house...... they didnt know what to make of thier dog being so trusting lol
more...... stationary items

lets see, block of wood in the middle of the highway that only just scraped my trans xmember, repeatedly hit/almost belly out on 2 speed bumps and a raised pedestrian crossing, and pretty much all of the layback kerbing at work is scarred from the sprint going over it......

oh yea, collected a plastic guidepost with the passenger side mirror overtaking some Queensland Rail ****tard on the wrong side after he decided he was gonna slam on the brakes to get into his unmarked turnoff..... couldnt see past him on the drivers side, so i aimed for the tabledrain, decided the upcoming culvert would hurt a lil, tried squeezing between the guidepost and the ******** in the rodeo, and i was doing fine till my boss wigged out, screaming "stick, stick", i'm like WTF? BANG.....

needless to say, not happy, and reminded him that i'm the one who's the driver, i know what i'm trying to avoid hitting, and the next time he thinks he's gonna die, stfu and do so quietly so i can try to keep his stupid *** alive

I am clean, nothing to report except a speed hump or sharp drive way and spoiler contact. But I did see last week two funny instances. with all that rain we got here in queensland and a mine camp I was at where they just built a new car park road. they layed the bitumin but had not concreted drains and curbs at the sides so it turned to s**t and they sut the road because people were getting stuck. one guy tried to access from the side of the camp and drove straight into the soft edge and bogged her, wrecked the front bar. I pulled him out with the 4x4. But the funniest part was later that evening a brand new VE ss did the same thing. It stayed there for the night, I never pulled him out. You had to be there.

Hit a telstra van once, but I'm lucky, haven't hit any wildlife. Although i've had some close calls.
also, Numerous bugs. Once, after two weeks of driving (2500 km) there wasn't much front bumper that wasn't bugs.

Cheers

Yeah, dirt bike so it used to being on its side and slamming into things with some of the hills where we ride. Bark busters saved all the levers snapping off, and i just got some really nasty deep gouges and a couple of torn eyes off the plastics.

Did more damage to her car than my bike!

up here in central queensland the camps are in town, and transport to the mine is usually by commuter bus or work vehicles, mostly landcruisers, patrols, light trucks, etc

hmm, i hit a heap of birds in my EA, 2 got wedged in the bumper and one got stuck in the grille, it was still alive, just stuck.
i nearly hit a cow in the XR8, but ran over a crayfish, driving from work within about 3 weeks.
my dad hit an emu (of all things) in his FJ40 at about 100km/h, that made a mess.
my grandad hit a kangaroo at about 100mph in his XY monty 30 years ago, taped the car back up and drove 650km home, there are pics of the drivers door taped shut and the shattered front end, with the headlights wedged into place with a couple of sticks and ALOT of tape. plus the hole in the windscreen was taped up too....
thats all i can think of at this point...

My brother hit a concrete block about the size of a microwave in his SSS Pulsar. It was in the middle of the lane, he tried going for the emergency lane but was too late in manovering. Smashed right foglight, bent front bumper, shredded right tyre and buckled and cracked 14" alloy rim. His spare was flat as well knowing our luck so we drove it about 10ks to somewhere it could be left overnight on shredded tyre and buckled rim. Alignment was unbelievely fine after fitting the new rim, we pushed the bumper back to where it approximatly went and cable tied it in. Been like that for about a year now.

I hit a rotti at 70 and shattered it's hip, then the owner tried blaming me for hitting the dog when it wasn't on a lead

Ive run over about 50 snakes, ran over bobtails which i hate because i love them but bastards just come out. Clipped a roo.

When Dad had his Xe there was a magpie in the middle of the road so i put my foot into it being jacked because i got swooped the day befor, and this thing didnt move but it jumped at the last second right infront of the headlight. I laughed but Dad wasnt happy.

2 rabbits also ran out infront of me one behind the other and i tryed to avoid them but i cleaned both up right in a line BANG BANG, BANG BANG. Was like driving over huge rocks

A mate of mine was on his WR450F doing 160kph on a gravel track and hit a roo. He managed to hold onto it and not come off but it made mince meat of the radiator and there was a dent in the frame. Dented the fuel tank but thats plastic so.

you know trolley bays were they just have those concrete lines as slots. I saw someone try and drive over them in a Ford Festiva once. smashed the back in somehow and smashed the front. Under the car would of been pretty screwed i imagine.

But hey it wasnt me and boy did i laugh hard. This Indian guy thought he was cool for doing it driving off with a smile but u could tell he was like....kkkrrrrrraaaappppp
