The blades sweep a little more and if you measur youself its actually bigger than garrett disclose.

Its a genuine 500rwkw turbo in factory location.

Just for some facts as current times, i havnt seen 500rwkw with this turbo in any car yet so hard to claim genuine 500rwkw.

With a manual it went 471rwkw on springy dyno. ~490 is the most ive seen with this turbo through glouva's fg. I presume ported rear housing and possibly ported stock manifold and donno if any head work / cams was involved either.

But you should see ~20/30rwkw out of it with a few more pound of boost and maybe few '00 rpm quicker spool.

Interested to see results

Depends on whose dyno, I'm sure there are some happy ones out there.

Glouvas would make over 500 on those ones, or you could put it on a hub dyno.

Because you haven't seen it icer its hard to claim lol.

The turbo will make 20-30rwkw more at the same boost !

ummm its harder to claim something that has happened over something that HASNT happened especially for a 'genuine' claim.

Agreed rednose. Maybe take it to SA just to show a gtx actually HAS gone over 500rwkw

update: this turbo has just gone 475 still at a bees dick over 18 psi, no doubt about the turbo's ability to work well, imagine if we chucked some serious boost into it, I'm sure you will be happy with your's

My car ran up 339rwkw on pump fuel/standard stall last week and ran 126.5mph on the weekend so there goes that theory

18psi ratter....could only imagine what 20-22psi would make on a car equipped to do so...possibly 500rwkw

Have to agree with Ratter, with a built motor, good supporting hardware, 20+ psi of boost, I think the GTX3582R can make over 500rwkw and it would be a much nicer drive than a TO4Z wheeled turbo.

Bang for buck the GTX3582R is a very attractive upgrade to the FG XR6T owners that are chasing more than 350rwkw.

I would probably just pick up about 20-30rwkw, my convertor is a power drainer lol. So about 440-450rwkw through the stalled btr.

THEORETICALLY it probably can. Port exhaust housing, put a 6boost manifold on it, big cams, port the head.... Might make 500....

Till its done, its like me claiming 'i have a potential 9 second car' as i run over 140mph down the track. Still not a 'genuine' 9 second car.

XFT have done two now, one was a streetcar that made 440ish on 98 and made 509 on E85... Built engine and good (Nizpro) hardware around it. The other is the XFT F6E drag car that's actually just an F6E with no sound deadening, carpet or passenger seat (still weighed 1700kg driverless on the motorplex scales last month) and made 511 and ran 10.0 @ 139 with stock converter, 6 speed auto on it's 3rd pass at the track before the intank pump hose split and spoilt the show. Will run a 9 pretty soon

You are very ignorant when it comes to accepting results that you think in your head cant be done.

Blinkers are for Horse Racing not Drag Racing

Looks like 500 has been done with this turbo icer....now what excuse do you have as to why it made it?

Also Matt Webbers last night made 500.2rwkw (e100).

So with massive list of supporting mods and built motor, looks like it is possibly for a flat 500!

I dont need/have excuses, just saying without any evidence, cant claim **** (trust me i know!). Now that there is evidence to support the gtx35 and 500rwkw with a big list of mods, it is all doable! (gotta love 500rwkw stock looking sleepers....)

I would forget debating the Dyno its a never ending process with to many variables, Ivan's ET tells the story.

Well done Ivan, pretty much what you expected.

How does it feel compared to the standard turbo?

Some say it spools quicker others say its a bit laggier, how do you find it?
