If I told my boss i'd be at work at 9am, then rang at 3 and said I wouldn't be there until midday, then rang at 11am and told him I wouldn't be there until 4pm then called at 3.45pm and said I wouldn't be there until 5. I think my boss would tell me not to worry about coming in today or ever. I'll still buy it, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't but polyphony can suck my ****.

Agreed, if it wasn't going to be so damn good I would not buy it in protest!

Whats worse is they never give a good reason, or any at all! I was even going to schedule my trip to Tas a couple of days after it was released so I can have a quick go before I left...ah..******.

Thing is they know people will buy it so they can make up any excuse they want for the delay like.
'My uncles, cousins, mums, mates sisters, cousins, dad had a broken fretz and couldnt come to work for a month. So the game was delayed

Its just odd that a game that has been in development for so long can be stopped 3 weeks out from shipping.

Now if we look at the logistics how long do they leave it before the Blu rays are burnt, covered and shipped? I thought they were going for a world wide launch so surely they would leave atleast a week to get it around...you cant be changing it that late in the cycle.

If it has anything to do with 3D ill be ****ed, no one wants it!

They have delayed so they can bring out the PS4..... maybe they are probably bringing out a pc version as well :-**

My kid has ps3 and the only game I play is GT. I have waited for this for years now after buying the prologe version or whatever its called. I just turned 40 in july ,hopefully it comes out before I turn 50.

Oh well looks like i'll have more time to save up for the G27 wheel and build myself a little cockpit... Lucky I didn't put in for annual leave on the day of 'anticipated' release!

What crap though, how many people are actually going to use the 3D? Id be stuffed if I am wearing glasses watching TV inside.

Would have been nice if the 99% of us could just get the non 3D version.

Just bought medal of honor and enquired about GT5, was informed it should definatley be out before Christmas. Specific dates will be known shortly. Still not happy about the wait.

Meh - predicted it would be delayed, it'll come as a shock to me when it does get released. It's the Duke Nukem of racing games. Forza will probably bang out another version before GT5.

I got a PS3 in 2006 for this game.. lucky i hate X-Box controllers or i'd be converting after this, just release the damn game, save the next add ons for GT6 in 12 months don't these people like money?

I was about to buy one of these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT and the G25 Logitech wheel for this game but i have since learnt that Logitech have come out wuth the G27 in the time i have waited for GT5 to come out
