Does this mean there could be a parallel universe where I am good looking and can reign as queen of all I survey???

Are you saying the geography thing isn't enough?

Plenty of overwhelming and fairly convincing evidence that makes me believe the earth is roundish eg:

a) film from space;
b) behaviour of objects disappearing over the horizon;
c) various air and sea circumnavigations;
d) measurement of variation in shadows lengths;
e) widely accepted belief on most modern earthlings;
f) the round nature of other observed planets;
g) consistency with gravitational and astrophysics theories;
h) curved horizons;
i) the shape of the earth's shadow during a lunar eclipse; and
j) varying times (night and day) at the same time on different parts of the earth.

but clear conclusive proof? Without flying around the earth myself; no. Nonetheless, regardless of readily available independent proof even this skeptic is convinced it is roundish.

hee hee ... this is great ... I haven't laughed so much in a LOOOOOONG time.
I guess the only thing the Flat Earthers can prove is flat ... is the shape of the ACID trip tabs that they slot under their eyelids.

Perhaps we should move to something more relevant but equally nonsensical in these high fuel cost days- perpetual motion machines:

http://www.phact.org/e/dennis4.html and http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/museum/unwork.htm
