Yeah checked the junk folder. Have sent customer service a follow up email so hopefully they respond quickly. I do not want to miss this! Sounds like it's going to be a ripper day!

Just received my phone call. Remember, it will come from "unknown".

Will be all on-site, no re-locating anywhere.

I put forward my raffle idea. That would really be a top plan if it were to happen.

No-one knows the exact details of the day, but filming will be 10am - 6pm, so stay comfortable, wear some nice black or navy shoes. Dark blue is apparently acceptable as well for clothing.

It does but it leaves at something stupid like 2am due to near overcrowding on the Merivale Bridge for other QR commuter services during peak times.

Yeah I probably will fly, XPT would be horrible with no onboard entertainment other than a magazine and no phone/computer charge points.

Don't forget the mums and kids and drunks and people that think that everyone else should be awake at 3:00am

Then changing Trains in Syd and doing it all over again

I asked about dark blue jeans, he said they have to be black. Also a black sun hat if wearing one.

Maybe there are a few phoning everyone, and each has their own interpretation on what's required.

Yeah, I got a young girl calling me. I suggest everyone wear black anyway for a uniform and professional look amongst us.

Wear a nice shirt, maybe some dress shoes or comfortable casual ones. We should look look like this:

Looking forward to Friday guys get to put a few faces to the names on here.

I was told from my discussion from the Ford representative who called me that could we could wear dark comfortable pants (dark shoes/dark jeans or cargos) and black t-shirt, they didn't tell tell me filming will be all on site as but its the the old Qantas repair/service before they shut down recently.
For those who havern't been there before its the building which has a Boeing 747 on the side painted blue or near the Air Show area if this helps.

I'm confident Photographing will be inside the building like they did with the FPV BF Series as in picture I've posted below, makes more sense that why they have asked us to wear dark clothing as we will be watching all from inside the building while they shoot the new models.

I think the address is for security purposes at the airport. At least that's what they told me.

I was thinking of having a mini cruise from the servo/maccas on the ring rd just before the princes fwy exit for the guys/gals coming from that way. If there is one started that comes over the west gate, could time it to join at the freeway merge etc..

EL2794 and I will be meeting up at the Cranbourne Bunnings before heading over.

Does anyone know what the traffic is normally like at that time for morning to get through the city and head out to Avalon?
I live and work in SE Suburbs so I don't head in to the city often and when I do it's to go to Tulla airport leaving home at around 6am so I still don't get to see what it's like on the other side of the bridge.

From what I experience when I head to Tulla I'm thinking that if we left from Cranbourne at 7 it would take close to 2hrs to get there.
I'm almost tempted to aim to arrive at 7:30 to avoid the majority of the peak traffic.. haha :(
