Ford have won ten Constructors championships in F1, and Schumy won two F1 championships in a Ford.

This post and my previous posts aren't really bagging Ford or Ferrari. If we are truthful every manufacturer has skeletons in their closet.

And who owns Cosworth now? Either the racing or the road car department?

400 K for a Toyota , they just don't learn their lesson do they . At the end of the day it is a Toyota and subsequently white goods on wheels . You earn a reputation in Formula One like Ford did not just (so spectacularly unsuccesfully ) try and buy one like Toyota did, or Sports car racing like jaguar did . et al et al et al . Just another glorified Corolla .

Where did I read about the "Starion" that was designed in Japan as the "Stallion" but got lost in the translation when marketed in Australia.

That a bit like the "frux" capacitor! hehe

I agree the price is a little outrageous but whitegood on wheels? bwhaha Glorified Corolla? You sir need to go and do some real research on this car before you're even allowed near the keyboard again....think V10, carbon fibre monocoque, etc

I don't know, spending $750,000 (in Australia) on something with a Lexus badge... Thats top end Lamborghini money, or all the other exotics.

Or like a few Nissan GTRs, one for you, one for the missus and two for the two kids.

Guys, let's be realistic, it's not the car, it's the badge ...
The thing can be a VTOL and we'll still call it just a "toyota".

Nothing wrong with that, we're here cause we like Fords, no-one says we need to admire or respect Holdens or Toyota's or anything else for that matter... each to his own... as long as we don't attack each other personally.
(Unless of course you drive a Lada Niva) ...
