Its not your conventional Militia that run from farm to farm sharing weapons. This thing runs deep. Just seeing pictures of the SAM that is supposedly responsible for downing that plane, and others before it, is not something you could get on the black market or steal and conceal. Hence why other countries planes avoided that area maybe because they came up on satellite images.

“Putin has only one jet – Board One, he does not fly other planes. This plane always takes off from Vnukovo-3, but the presidential plane have not been flying over Ukraine for a while,” the source at Vnukovo-3 terminal said.

President Putin was on his way from Brazil, where he attended the BRICS summit, to Moscow.

Flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpar, and was carrying 295 people.

The passenger Boeing-777 was expected to enter Russian airspace at 5:20pm local time, but never did, a Russian aviation industry source was cited by Reuters.

No one is going to do squat. Not a single thing. Politicians will get on TV and say how unacceptable it is and Russia has been a very naughty boy and they need to be held to account and how things will have to change and they might even ban Putin from G20 this year but at the end of the day no one will do a thing. Money and oil/ gas is power and Russia have lots of them.

This isn't the first time Russia has been involved in something like this, and what happened to them when they invaded Georgia and what has anyone done to them with respect to Ukraine.

Every Thursday, just after midday, a South African bound aircraft, origin = Sydney or Melbourne would fly over Bunbury (West Australia).
If the conditions where right, you could easily perceive the 4 individual contrails (A340), exiting the engines and the combined plume that spanned the vault (sky). Beautiful sight.
Now, I never set my watch by this apparition, but could have. Days would be, I'm either working, it's cloudy or at 10+kms high, in such a such season (the Jetstream), the contrail was not visible.
Here is a regular flight, its waypoints timed to the second. Done it hundreds of times previous at exactly the same time, same altitude, speed. The flight plan logged to agencies across the planet.

Back in 1983 the US had a president who stood up to the Russians, these days the US is led by a president who is as impotent as he is clueless.
