coming back from work today on the WESTERN RING RD saw ACTIV8 in his FPV GT. Flashing the barges headlights like mad from Dalton rd up to the end were it merges into greensborough rd (5 km).
Couldn't resist having a crack at him in typical T2TE50 fashion. Told him what a box his car was and that it sounded like a 4 potter. Not suprisingly he pulled a fishy across the whole intersection after that.
What has this got to do with calder you ask??????

Took the toy out for a few runs tonight (4 runs actually... after 2 years of not going to Calder I see they are as crap as usual.. I'll be going to Heathcote again from now on).

No new PB for me but I did match the old PB with another 14.57(6)@93.91mph. Weirdly enough I seemed to have lost some time on the first 660' but made it all up (and gained a mph) on the second half of the track.
Runs for the night were a 14.57, 14.59 and then two 14.69's. Car is running ultra consistent with all the runs being within 1/10th or so. I'd say thats the limit for what I'm going to dig out of the car without touching the engine in some way though.

PB for me @ 13.81 with a 2.1 60ft. Aim for the night was to go under 14. Thought I could have done better. The new headers made traction a major issue. Too little on the throttle at takeoff and it felt bogged....a little bit too much the wheels would just spin. I couldn't get a chirp going. The long wait between drinks didn't help either.

Thanks Mark for organising the event

PS. Was it just me or did the other side seem to get more runs?!

PB for me also!... 12.22 @ 192kmh. and backed up with a 12.23. 1st time ever in the 12's with previous best of 13.03... Thanks Dion at Dyno-Mite Performance... Absolutely awesome for a car with just injectors & a tune. Even the old SP Dunlops stuck ok.
And Casper... TOO bloody right about Calder!... Why they persist in wasting all that time to have 3 sh1tboxes in the burn-out comp is beyond me!
Hey Spooly... WELL DONE mate... 11.16!... (I believe now the quickest F6 in Aus?)

PB for me also, 14.73 @ 93.3 and a flat 2.0 60ft. First 3 runs using MT Streets proved to be counter-productive.

Cheers for organising the night Spooly. Look forward to the next AFF session at Heathcote though...
