Ergh im next home (: well, I was home a while ago was just in the garage scraping that second half of stickers off! Props to Danny, Steve, Troy (did I get it right?), his son (?sorry i forgot his name >.<) and all the others who helped debadge and desticker my fez (:

Just managed to scrape the lower half off, not bad too, apart from sliced fingers from using the razor it came out spotless! Will do the top half tomorrow (:

Beautiful day, great fun and who could forget the infamous focus (:

For those who weren't there, you'll have to wait for the pics of this guys Focus. Reckons he has spent over $20,000 on it. Must have spent a lot on stickers, cause the engine hasn't been touched...........and you couldn't make a engine bay look any filthier

And when he failed to win Best Focus, just hopped straight into his car and went home

Sounds like you all had a great day out, congratulations to all the club members who participated and did the club proud.

Congrats to all the winners, and to those that didn't take out individual awards, for supporting the club display there!

I want more photos!

The Awards:

Best Club Display: Euroford Club of Australia (Yeh!)
Best Fiesta: Danny
Best Focus: Melbzetec
Best Mondeo: OZST24
(just nudging out the old couple in the burgundy
mondeo who had alloy wheels this year!)

Highlight of the day: The entire club removing the Coffey Ford
Stickers from Helders car.

Laugh of the day: Ricer Focus with $20,000 of stickers (more
stories to be told)

Smart Move of the day: Helder having a filthy engine bay. So bad that
Danny couldn't help himself and had to clean and
detail it. Worth the $10 entry.

Congratulations to all for winning best club presentation. Outstanding job from everyone and lots of fun and laughs. (Just ignore the extended tailpipe jokes Matt) And looks like we may have a few new members. Including the club's first Sierra Cosworth owner???

Congratulations guys. Job well done. Good to see an XR5 there. Love to see one in the flesh. And silver as well. Thought it was blue or orange. Anyway, congrats on the fine effort

I dun wanna say much about that bloke uless he comes onto the forums and gets hurt. He seemed to genuinely think he had the BEST Focus of us all, and puffed himself up antime someone came near it and strutted proudly....... hmm.

I must say I didn't like the Blue Sedan, not to my taste at all. He had done an amazing amount of work, supposedly $20,000 incluiding exhaust and pod, lots of pretty wicked lighting and the chrome rims. He had also done the spoiler and vinyls and some solid interior stereo mods. I would have preferred it without the spoiler and vinyls, it would look pretty cool on those rims and no other exterior mods but that's my Euro snobbery I guess. I feel sorry though that he drove off after not winning, he did have a lot of pride in his car, it definitely grabbed a LOT of attention.

Lesson to be learnt - don't be a snob, we all have different tastes! I was initially shocked but I had a chat to him and he's going to very seriously drop a 5.4 supercharged in... if that happens, I will most certainly try and track him down a second time!!!

Unfortunately My Freakin camera ran out of battery before I could get some good shots of the club cars so mainly just the sierras and their awesome engine bays I got. However I'm posting up first my favourites of the few club pics I got. They look sensational. If you want any Higher res pics (2595x1422 I think) Just let me know...

My apologies for them still being quite large however making these pics too small didn't do them justice. OK Here we go.....

In the blue corner, we have Steve's Best Focus 2006 (Melbzetec)

In the red corner, we have the best Mondeo for 2006 (OZST24 retaining his title from 2005)

And best Club Display at the Small ford Sunday 2006????

Yeh, Dats da shizz.

Now some random arty farty shots of our display.

My engine overlooking a Hot arrsse Mondeo

Best Mondeo 2006, next to Best Fiesta 2006 next to 2nd best Fiesta 2006 (Helder, If only we'd removed those stickers earlier!)

One final one looking the other way down our display at the Zetec R and the RS Sierra (I don't think its visible in this pic...)

Anyways, My other pics are on their way. Enjoy
-Dan

Looks like some nice cars showed up and you all had a great time!
