Plenty of posts suggesting aurion is for older people and they do 80km/h in a 100km zone to slow up the traffic. Thats just silly talk.
Its actually the reverse, unless you have a boosted falcon, the aurion would be likely giving you the hurry up. Most falcons would be dispatched should the aurion driver put his foot down. Only supercharged miami v8s and turbo 6s are safe. |

Oldies can become road blocks but it’s more likely to be in a built up area on a two lane street than out on the highways. Right lane hogs out on the open road will more likely be middle aged men in large SUV’s with a sense of self entitlement, I know I’ve given a few the finger over the years for holding me up.

You know FFA is buzzing when the Aurion gets 5 pages of bandwidth.

G6e turbo is 46950 + on roads
Guarantee you can buy the presara for less than 45. What is the real world price of a g6e turbo now? Given the price drop do dealers have much room to move?

Not for long. And not if you want to check one out in the showroom and not buy sight unseen. Unsure about the commodores, but I haven't seen any Falcons in a dealership for a while.
That said, I reckon the Mondeos look a lot nicer. Not entirely sure the fractions of a second faster 0-100 people are arguing over actually matter at all. |

Love the new facelift Camry, as an owner for almost a few years I would recommend a Hybrid Camry over an Aurion. Slower but still decent for a 4 cylinder (7.8 seconds).
40 grand for top of the range one with all the fruit. Looks half decent now |

Probably better off with the base Aurion ATX at the moment than the top Presara.
Toyota is doing a release special with with new 2015 updated one is 30,990 driveaway. A lot of car and features for the money (proximity key, front and rear parking sensors, rear view cam etc). The 3.5 V6 is a gem. Anymore money you would be better off in a VF or a Falcon. |

Yeah it becomes close to a no-brainer if it was in the Camry. Cheap cost of ownership especially with cheap Toyota capped price servicing. Really love the 3.5 V6 6speed auto combo. Toyota would save money dumping the extra complexity of the Aurion panels from the production line. |

Clearly there are a lot of ''ídiots'' out there! That's why Toyota are outselling the other brands.
Like it was mentioned above, You will still be able to buy a camry/aurion in 2 years and not a Falcon or Commodore. The ''idiots'' have spoken.

I think Aurion is gone once local production is wrapped up.

For starters I have to say an Aurion/Camry slowing me down by 5kmh or beating me off the lights is something I have never worried about. Foolish of me, I know.
Secondly we can bag it all we went but the facts are -it's well advertised -gets good reviews -new (useful) tech -people buy it |
