Hav no idea if factory or not! Not close to Calypso ..... but they did them in so many other ford colours which has been shown.

This thread isn;t the place to discuss the worth of coupes or if owners are asking too much!

To put this to rest as this topic has been done to death please ......... WHEN coupes stop selling, prices WILL drop ..... its the market that determines everythings worth as well as the owner determining what price they are willing to accept. You are unrealistic in your statement and if you do want a coupe, you need to pay what the owner is willing to sell it for or what the market beleives is about right. Not what you think its worth!

Please no more on the worth of coupes as most understand the demand and hardwork required to maintain the high standards shown on these and other pages.

An ebay gem. As the title says "Ford Ltd Landau P5 (NOS) Right Rear Door Skin."

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ford-Ltd-Land...QQcmdZViewItem

As the ad says - very rare. About as rare as Landau right rear doors!

After saying my car was for sale I've been having bad luck with her. It hasn't had a problem for a long time. When I jumped in it to go to powercruise I had no dash lights but it still started so I went to the event anyway. On the way I realise that there was no charge getting to the battery. So I went home to check the alt. The alt packed it in so I had a spare and I thew it in. When I went to start it the battery was flat so I opened the door and stuck a foot out to push it back off the flat to try and clutch her. As I started getting it rolling I went to shut the door but it got caught on a pole in the carport. Even though I was hardly moving it folded a bit of the lip at the bottom of the door. Not happy : . So it has convience me to keep her as I don't think she wants to go. And because of how I felt when it happen I realise I'll feel worst if I did sell as it is part of my family. So thanks for all the PMs but I'm not going to sell her after all.

Default Rare!!

Yea i know landau rear doors right! Well when i do end up parting with something on ebay, ( only way to keep my project going ) my wife lists it for me. I is not real bright when it comes to computers an all. Well i gave it a go and to make sure i didnt "f up" i listed under ltd landau. I have no idea what t here even worth. I am hoping at least enough to put towards getting my diff rebuilt. Dose any one know what these would be worth roughly? Thanks chris.

Not sure about what they are worth Chris.....what someone'll pay as usual!
Don't change the way she lists the bits because it is actually quite good to have P5/Landau parts at the same time....if someone bought a rear door skin mistaking it as suitable for a Landau, they should have said coupe removed from their posession!

Cheers, Jamie

My mates missus has just bought this. She had a really nice xc coupe but got rear ended by a truck. So this is a good replacement.

I have been offered an opportunity in the last fortnight to buy a genuine low mileage XY GT for a more than reasonable price and have been thinking long and hard about it, so therefor i am looking to sell my coupe.
I think you all know the car or have seen pics of it.
I am looking for offers over 50k.

In my opinion around two thirds the starting bid at the most. 5k to 7.5k.
Needs a lot of work.

George, I would buy that car in a heartbeat if it was priced right for me.
Its a lovely car, but the asking price is way too hot for my tastes.

Specially when in todays economic climate, I have the choice of 5 diffrent XA GT sedans for around the 50k mark. And 2 of them have factory sunroofs.

To me (my opinion only), and this is no disrespect to the car or its owners, that asking price is a little ambitious.
In todays hard market, I personally would be hesitant to fork out that much on a Full Concourse condition, factory K Code coupe (in a special colour combo like this car), and I would be expecting it to be a factory sunroof car too.

Whomever ends up with it will own a special car for sure, and not being a GT, I would definantly change stuff on it. The vinyl roof would go for sure.

Now why would you want to go backwards into a box shape falcon? You have the best shaped muscle car ever to grace the planet and you want a XY? Nah all the best mate, which ever you decide after all the XYGT is an icon but the hardtops still look better. :

Speaking of nice coupes for sale, did anyone spot this one yet???
Yellow Glow XA GS Coupe, very nice looking car. Another one with an ambitious asking price.
