Spent about 3000 on my NAII 1500 for the car and about another 1500 for repairs, service and reg.Still fixing some minor hicups though such as idling rough and heasistant at take off so will need more spent to get it right before the fun stuff.Only had it for two weeks.Bit cheaper on parts and labour cause i work in a mechanical workshop which has saved me heaps of dough.

XH snorkel doesn't count as i sold it to gunns a few days after i got it for the same price i bought it for

As for replacement parts, there's the fuel pump and a top radiator hose, that's about it

ey..

Spent $5K+ ...not including the EA..which i picked up for $1000 4 years ago..was mint condition back then..."MINT" is the keyword hehe

should of skipped all the mods ive done and just boosted it, but then again I guess we all spend $$ on our cars..all slowly over time though, abit here, abit there..not all at once..unless you can afford it!

Apart from the original purchase price and petrol each fortnight i have invested $2 for a cutting disc for my angle grinder. I have had the EA for almost 2 years and have not spent a cent for repairs or nothing. I still have factory radio/cassette and speakers. The only thing non-standard is the ride height (my fault) and wheels which were on the car when i bought it.

cant beleive i havnt made a post in this thread yet......

Calculated everything just before and i have spent just over 7 thousand already in one year, ALREADY.......... WTF! Not including fuel, care car products or car washes.

Well theres no going back now and theres still heaps i want to do and the car still isnt running right. You do it for the passion i suppose, just a short list of what i have spent so far:

Extractors, high flow cats
Head Gasket, labour
Gt40p heads and Roller Rockers
Transmission
Waterpump
New front discs
Insurance and rego
2 x Major services
New tyres
Front demist repairs

theres heaps of other small things i missed, like new door handles, respray exterior, fixing dents and scratches....... im afraid the list will get bigger as time goes!!!!
