My pix will be uploaded tonight after work, Krystal and myself took probably about two dozen on my camera.

It was a pleasure having a full car during a cruise, syrK and Shane and teh luffly GF Lauren made it all the more fun. Talking about boobs is always fun though

Did anyone get a snapshot of "Sausage Gully" (yes, a REAL location) on the drive back? I was in tears! That return drive was just awesome too.

Ash you're a beyotch playing the catch-up game, but I did the same to Patto and he in turn got owned. Methinks your gearing would give you an advantage anyway, I was usually in 3rd along the GOR, sometimes 2nd.

It was a pleasure to finally meet Polyal (hooray for downhill ****-tobbogganing), as well as catching up with old friends (although I never got around to having a chat with n1ko, sorry mate :( ).

My highlight of the day? Random flange from Lorne shouting out "WE LOVE THE BLACK CAR!"

Very cool cruise yet again! Great stuff having this cruise every year, it's so much fun. Good to catch up and meet a few new faces.

Perfect day for it too, not one spot of rain. The only downer was getting held up by slow-pokes...especially on the way back. Heljas I'm sure you felt the pain too :P

Great cruise, had an absolute ball, even if I was by myself dawdling around, haha! Used 3/4 of a tank from yesterday morning till when I got back down here, wasnt too bad I dont think.
Gotta love that Commodore wagon and the sick driveby by the P plate VT.
Cant wait for the next cruise, ill hopefully have a passenger, lol!!
Ive got pics, ill get them up 2nite when I can be bothered!
On the way back was fun.. watching John and Dane leave me stuck behind the Territory and BA *looks at auto* it couldnt decide what gear it wanted and every time there was a gap, the guy in the silver EF mont would slow down and everyone would be nose to tail again, finally caught up to Dane at Geelong, haha!!

Certainly came out of nowhere, lucky it didn't decide to keep crossing the road and turned back.

Great cruise guys, I was in hysterics leaving Lorne, trying to drive while I was being dosed at...
Sounded like I was being tailgated by a CT cruise :P

Car handled the day nicely, no bits falling off is always a bonus...
Cheers to the organisers!

well i just got home about 30 minutes ago! i stayed the night in Geelong with Ali (my girlfriend). i was sooo tired when we got back to the motel, i could barely keep my eyes open!
thanks heaps to John for organizing the event, cooking and just about everything of the day! i love the look of your car man! reminds me of a V8 supercar from the back! great to meet ya too!
i absolutely loved the hard a** driving around the GOR! proberly the best fun iv ever had!
it was good to meet some members, although since there was a fair few people it was hard to start a conversation but i tried my best!
i covered over 600km's from sunday morning to this arvo when i got home! i would have used almost a full tank, not too bad!
Krys: how did the photos turn out from when you were hanging out the window on the way to apollo bay? post them up can ya!!
also cant wait to see all the photos Alex took! the lighthouse location was a good one and the pics should turn out great! haha it was funny when we had to park a car in the middle of the road to stop randoms driving in on our photoshoot!
is there any pics that people took of my car? if so i'd love to see them!

well all in all i had an awesome day!
cheers

yeah was awesome to meet you mate, you and Ali seem like great people!

Most of the pictures I took whilst hanging out the window were actually on Ghia5L's camera, so I haven't seen them yet.

The only one I caught on my camera was this:

Unfortuantely, it's not a very good photo heh. We'll see what Daves come up like, I dont know if they'll be any good but was worth a try anyways! My right side/hip is hurting real bad today, I think I must've pulled a muscle whilst hanging out the window LOL.

Ditto.... :P

Should we create a new thread dedicated to pics, with no chit chat what-so-ever?

Nah this one would be fine I'd imagine, either way I'm screwed when it comes to viewing the images. The text loads up first (and "quickly" for dialup) anyway.

Yes, go the SLS! Even without 1.7 tons of steel, mine handled like a boat. I think I was following you for a fair distance on the way up, and both cars had some great bodyroll around the corners.

And I saw the echidna too. Pat probably ran over it :P

yeah was a good day, i didnt have a car but i was in FairmontEL's car. thanks for letting me drive on the way back Max ;)

also on the way back Pat/Joe/Max and i seen "Boyd" from neighbours cruising in a beaten up kingswood wagon with an unconfirmed "sky" as passenger. it looked like her but we couldnt see properly. either way she was making sexual hand gestures to Joe probably because of the sticker on Pats car! Joe then proceeded to raise a V bottle in his hand and a crazy look on his face. boyd got scared and drove off :P

Pics! (low quality for stone age dial-up people)

Sounds like a good cruise. I ended up pulling the front bar off my car and driving around Mooroolbark and Chirnside with the subs pumping. Got sooo many looks. Was almost as much fun as GOR would've been
