Not the one up his leg a little - the one on his main part of paw, right on the outside.. the little bugger keeps chewing off the bandage when no-one is around and licking it which actually makes it worse.

Aww ... theres a spray u can get that goes on bandages, its called Bitter Apple i think. Its specially for bandages and stuff and stops them licking and chewing them. You can get a small bottle for around $8-10 from most pet places. I highly recommend it! I used it on my cat and old dog.

I'll remember that for next time-sounds good. We have been putting tabasco sauce on top but it eventually soaks in enough for him to get at it again :

Nah never bitten and as quiet as a pussy cat, that one is my bigger female, but the smaller female bites every time she looks at you. Being small snakes they only grow to about 3 feet long and normally very placid. My male is a bit over 3 feet long and also a pussy cat never bitten.

When I had larger snakes (don’t have any big ones due to space issues) my large 8 foot coastal only ever bit me once, she was very hungry and missed the rat and got me, her mouth print went right across the back of my hand, biggest love bite I have ever had.

Pics of my male childrens and female coastal carpet pythons.

Here's my little buddy, he's name is Rocky (Maltese cross Silky), ironic I know. He's the best, always sits by my side when working on the car or tinkering in the garage. One pic shows him with what was left of the Christmas ham, when i first gave it too him he was so excited that he tried to pick it up. I wish i had a photo, he's so lite that he's hind legs lifted up off the ground instead, extremly funny, you can see he's back arch as he tries to tear the meat off!

She's an absolute poser too, every picture is perfect. She's so photo-genic, not like her owner.

This is our 15 month old pure bread German Shepherd, his name is Diesel.

and our Budgie, Cheeky Bird..

We also have a 3 Foot Reef Tank, dominated mainly by a huge anemone and Clown Fish (yes, we have nemo!) and a fish bowl in the kitchen.

I love German Sheppards too. Nice pets people. :P

Here is another shot of Astro, he's not very photo-genic, though i've got some great shots of him as a pup, but they're all on film and i don't have a scanner. :(

Some lovely pets here, some I recognise from other forums. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I will post a pic of one of each species so as not to bore you too much. This is Rosie, it is 12 years since we adopted her from the RSPCA as a young adult. She now has serious grey goggles, she is with one of my littlies Elsa a cream Schipperke:

And this is 2 of the cats Spencer (white) and Hannah (Tortie) playing at being ying and yang

Hey Mark

Lovely pics there. My boy Jim died recently from a brain hemorage (spel), and he too was very placid. Never bit anyone. He was 3 years old and about 7ft long, and the most beautiful black. Miss him heaps.

They are remarkable pets and underestimated. We used to get him out of his tank every day and let him crawl around the house, and take him outside to roam in the grass. I will most likely get another snake one day.
