I'm not scared of a bit of rain, we can always go inside the store if it gets heavy. I'm about to have a shower & head down - gave the car a quick wash ;)

Here's a few photo's I took, they didn't come out very good - I really need to learn to use my camera better.

More photo's can be found here http://picasaweb.google.com.au/cheer...eat=directlink

Seemed we got a decent turnout, especially for the weather (mind you we had no rain).

I'll get a coupe of pics up in a day or two.

was good to meet some of you. only thing i'll say bout these sorta meets is, its really hard as a new guy to just roll up and jump into the group, a fair few of you knew eachother or had previously met, and it was a bit clicky. in QLD b series meets we all used to go around and talk to everyone that was new and make them feel welcome.

not meaning to have a go, coz it was a good nite, the donuts were great and im gonna try to get down to the next one, but im just saying if we want to make these meets bigger then we need to involve everyone and mix, i know i probably could have tried harder last nite, other than that it was good,

im not really saying this for my benefit, more so for other new members that come along in the future that could feel the same,

didnt quite realise how good KK donuts were lol ;)

thanks fella's

cya at the next one

(hoping not to get flamed now)..........

Was tempted of coming along, KK is only 5 min away. But work had me washed out, as well as having part of a cold (not swine flu).
Thought of trying to contain my cold was the best choice. Maybe next time.

Gotta agree there mate, its like there was a large group that knew each other well & the newbies we're left to fend for themselves a bit. Good on you for saying something Michael, otherwise the new people are only going to show a few times & get sick of it. - we didn't even really get a 'cya later fella's nice meeting you' from some. Why don't we park the car's in a circle or something, then we can all stand in the centre & try mingle a bit??

Another thing are burnouts a regular thing every time some leave? Not trying to be a party pooper but I'm sure we don't want the cops rocking up & hassling us every time we meet up. I know we can't help other people acting stuiped - like the commodore wagon. Didn't mind the loud music, some of you have nice systems..

nah burnouts arnt a normal thing but it was bit wet and a little fun to , gotta agree with the gutles there is a large group that where there that knew each other from the first meet and i think where still in the get to know phase , but neext meet i think it should be that cars are park when you get there every one come intrduce your self with name and forums name becasue out of these meets so far i am still learning new stuff every week and the great people out there

Sorry i couldnt make it guys. Got called in to work last minute, but il definitely be there for the next one.

And i agree with what Michael said, its abit hard for newcomers to mingle in with the group. I know it was awkward for me at the beginning but 2 and a 1/2 years on and i am good mates with a lot of guys from on here that ive met through these events. Im looking forward to catching up with everyone at the next one.

No problem, next one we'll see what we can do. Oh and Gutles/cadsky your cars are just too easy to take photos off.

Sorry about that, I just saw people in groups so I thought that everyone is content. I'll try be a little more sociable.

I agree, could people please at least leave in a decent manner. I personally couldn't care what you do after that as its your problem but at KK I will have to deal with the authorities and I dont want B-series to get a bad name. Mind you no one did what the Commo wagon did but we don't wanna further add to the already tarnished image of car enthusiasts.

100% agree with you michael. i too didnt really know anyone, although there were a couple people by them selves so i went over to say g'day i suppose its easier than walking up to a large group.
