When I was younger I worked in a discount store and was part of a team that set up new stores... opened a store at Bondi Junction where there was a KFC that was trialing 'all you can eat' for lunch. They don't know what hit em... 10 teenagers with a 30 min lunch break. I think I got 14 pieces down myself The trial didn't last all that long... we prob had a lot to do with it! this would be going back 10-12 years now! |

Shellys - fruitypine soft drink
As for the Pizza Hut restaurant I know of one on Campbelltown Rd Eaglevale - that one must be the last one left in Australia, there is none in Brissy now. Also potato chips in plastic bags where you could put the bag in the oven shrink it down and use it as a key ring (shrinkydinks ??/)

This product really got Hans Smallgoods started. Read this feature here: http://issuu.com/newfarmvillagenews/...20roast%20pork In the final paragraph it mentions Michael van der Drift is now working at Gottzingers. I loved DRP as a kid, and when I went to renew my love affair with it, I found that only Gottzinger's at Yatala are now offering it. I wonder if Michael bought the recipie to Gottzingers with him? I now often stop at Yatala, on my way from Brisbane to the GC, and buy a 1/2 or full roll of DRP (a roll is 1.2kg), as well as other smallgoods. http://www.gotzinger.com http://www.gotzinger.com/coldcuts.ht...or-Dutch-48213 Dan. |

Thanks for bringing this thread back into the light.
I remember a time when KFC offered a dessert about 12 years ago called "tornado alert" or "twister alert" or something. I feel like having one again... |

Mrs Fields Peanut butter Choc Chip cookies
Soft & chewy style, sort of like a raw dough taste, honestly the best tasting cookie EVER !!! nobody seems to stock them anymore. Although ive seen she has released some cookbooks over the years, the recipe might be in one of them? |
