Agreed. I don't need it and don't want a government hand out thankyou very much. I'd rather the money was kept and used to build infrastructure or used to improve government services.

I'll use the money to buy bank shares.

Bingo, there's no such thing as a free lunch (or as free cabbage as referred to in this thread).

Anyone who thinks this $900 per person handout has no repercussion is seriously wrong. Where's our foreign debt going to end up at, and who is going to pay it back.

I'll bet my $900 Krudd handout GST will be increased in the next few years.

I'd give you guys my 900 just to STFU about it. I don't know whats more annoying, people whinging about their 'free money' not arriving yet, or everyone else complaining about paying it back.

A thread titled 'who HAS received their payment...' is 6 pages, 126 posts and not one of them has received anything (unless i missed it).

i checked my bank account this morning when i got home from work, i had recieved both my fortnightly pay and my $900 rudd money at the same time. so that was a nice suprise.

ohwell most of it can go into the "saving for a house" fund.

Ive heard all sorts of theories, Post Codes, Last Name, Tax File Numbers, Date you lodged your return etc.... it will come when it will come i guess.

Also had a friend of a friend get his and hes up the Sunshine coast, so who knows what system they are using (im also on the sunny coast and havent received it yet)

Well my gf and I are hanging out for it. My gf lost her job six weeks ago and only just got another job (started again today). I know it's not long, but six weeks living on one income isn't a walk in the park.

No sign of mine yet.
They are doing it randomly by postcode.
Im tipping they will go through all the $900 payments first then move on and start the process again with the $600 payments and so on until its finished.
Not being nosy but with the people who have received theirs is there any merit in what Im saying about the amounts?
