Wow that trailer was Nice!

I have mine since 2 or so months after Launch Loving it all the Way With Games like Heavenly Sword,GTA IV,Resistance,F1,Motorstorm and the Insane GT5 coming all is good.

So Ps3 Hands down. not to metion the Xbox overheating no Blu-Ray etc yadda yadda.

So choose as you wish I'm glad I chose mine. always had Playstation always will same as Ford.

The trailer looked orsm but i dont reckon the graphics were any better than that which ive seen on xbox360, definately better than PS2, my mate got the PS3 last month and i got the XBOX360 and there isnt really too much difference between them graphics wise, the PS3 has other applications to it none of which he uses or would I so the larger game selection and xbox live I reckon put the xbox360 infront as it is suppose to be a game machine not a DVD player/music player/computer etc... Ive already got dedicated machines for that.

Bought an xbox 360 and got it modded and have all the good games Forza 2, COD2 and 3, Gears of War, GRAW and GRAW 2 and Splinter Cell and Guitar Hero 2

Was pretty much collecting dust until I got Guitar Hero and have been playing it non-stop for months until i got the red rings. Now it's sitting there again collecting dust again haha. Been playing GH on my old PS2 and it's exactly the same. Only Live is better over ps3 IMHO. Catalogue of games coming out on 360 is rubbish apart from halo 3

Pro Pack and Bioshock and I can't beleive the graphics on this thing!! Its awesome, so much to do and the online stuff is great!

I got 2 wireless controllers, HD cables and three games for $720 or 0.72 PS3s LOL!!

I bought Advanced warfighter 2 today since it came out, the game is ****. Nothing to do with the graphics, its too easy, the PC version ****s all over it.

You got it modded! You get banned off live because microsoft can detect if you have one.

I dont really get what mean by the live is better on PS3. Everyone knows that xbox live is years ahead of the online service that sony offers. Everything is set up much better, more online content, getting in contact with people is easier, MSN, managing friends......

I think he is trying to hint that because you pay more for the PS3 you get more in your console.

I think the PS3 is more for less! Less games, less comfortable controller, less online content, and in many cases less graphics!

No, I'm a gamer who enjoys my PS3 over an obsolete machine. I enjoy having discs with a max capacity of 54gb on a dual layer disc rather than a 9gb disc. I enjoy having exclusive titles rather than just one being 'Halo' and a few racing games. I enjoy the better graphics, the faster speeds and the backwards compatibility.

I don't mind the XBOX 360, but the only reason I would buy one is for online play, but even then it doesn't interest me that much, so when you take a look at the topic title again you'll find I am pointing out which machine is better, and not that I'm a fan boy. Why don't you try reading all pages of the argument first before clicking that little submit button.

ps3 is superior in almost everyway to the xbox360, its all about games really, why not have both once both are cheaper?, xbox360 in Australia will soon be at the nintendo wiis price, and ps3 is well worth the $$$, amazing machine

Im glad you responded to that because now I can explain my point properly. Say when Grand theft auto IV comes out and its 20gb in size, it will run fine on the PS3, do you know what it will be on the 360? A compressed low quality game, thats what. If you think size has nothing to do with it, wait a few years. I remember when Half Life 1 was 400mb, some games today are well over 30gb now.

In case you didn't notice, the topic is asking which is better and I'm explaining why (again and again), and now that most people have forked out for a 360 they don't want to accept that another MACHINE is better. You also need to accept the argument, it will forever be like a Holden VS Ford thing except the results are clear if you look at the specs. And before you talk about logic, please learn to spell.

ok, look, i was not trying to start an argument, as it looks like the argument is already active within this thread. Yes you point out that ps3 has bigger capacity, it does. You pointed out that you like playing backwards compatible games on your ps3, unless you put that there to stir , then you enjoy playing older titles. Now that might seem a attack on what you said but it wasnt. Yes the ps3 version might look a little better, but the 360 version represents the better GTAIV experience. Do i care - no, i hate the game.

Yes games contintue to grow, there is no reason that microsoft cannot move to HD DVD or Blu Ray in the future with a simple add-on, yes it'l be more expense for owners, but recognise the premium that you must pay for a PS3, in the end, it can be done

Yes, ps3 has some very attractive points to it, also the xbox 360 does. In some ways ps3 is better, in some ways 360 is. Will the ps3 be able to exploit its advantages - yes. Will the 360 be able to exploit its advantages - yes. I understand that the argument is of a ford v holden nature....thats why I see it as pointless.

I think you will find that most people agree with you when you say the ps3 is better due to its advantages - yes it is more capable machine in some ways. You need to recognise that ppl will believe a 360 is better due to its advantages. Then there are ppl that recognise the advantages of each console, thus will end up owning both.

I have answered the original post, i infered that there is no reason to think the ps3 is crap and unenjoyable, equally no reason to think the 360 is crap and unenjoyable. What he should buy, is obviously up to him to decide, but it can be guaranteed that he will get a great console regardless.

Logic also has little to do with spelling, logic is more to do with you realising that i can spell, yet choose not to, becuase ppl will understand what im saying. If you have not used your logic to conclude that my capital letters were fanboys comments, then thats what they were.
