Haaaaa.... I think in Tas or Melb I saw an 'All you can eat' Pizza Hut last month.

When I was younger I worked in a discount store and was part of a team that set up new stores... opened a store at Bondi Junction where there was a KFC that was trialing 'all you can eat' for lunch.

They don't know what hit em... 10 teenagers with a 30 min lunch break. I think I got 14 pieces down myself

The trial didn't last all that long... we prob had a lot to do with it! this would be going back 10-12 years now!

Shellys - fruitypine soft drink
As for the Pizza Hut restaurant I know of one on Campbelltown Rd Eaglevale - that one must be the last one left in Australia, there is none in Brissy now.
Also potato chips in plastic bags where you could put the bag in the oven shrink it down and use it as a key ring (shrinkydinks ??/)

I saw cheese pringles in coles and woolies this weekend. Not bought in a few months, but last I checked bertie beetles now came in packs of 12 at woolies. My god when they are 2.99 a pack, I buy 4 lol. They are done under the wonka brand, but taste exactly the same as I remember as a kid. I used to give anyone I knew going to the royal show $20 just for bertie beetle bags lol, I even paid $20 to get in to our local show just to go buy the bertie beetle bag haha.

considering their advertising slogan was "tastes nothing like the old one" i'd
guess they taste a bit different, or the old one was so bad they wanted to distance themselves from it

the old one was defintely a lot more natural tasting. got me thinking as well...
straight from wikipedia
The original formulation contained 106 mg of caffeine, 33 g of sugar, fruit of the Açaí Palm, guarana, ginseng, 68% apple juice, 5% lemon juice, carbonated water, fructose and malt extract for each 250 mL can.

Good old coke thought they could bring a drink over from the southern states and just launch it here with no real local market research to see if people would like it, they struggled to give it away. Then Coke did one of the ultimate marketing and product turn arounds with the new flavour and managed to get people to forget how bad the original was.

Yes, this was made by Hans, although they no longer appear to make it.

This product really got Hans Smallgoods started. Read this feature here:

http://issuu.com/newfarmvillagenews/...20roast%20pork

In the final paragraph it mentions Michael van der Drift is now working at Gottzingers. I loved DRP as a kid, and when I went to renew my love affair with it, I found that only Gottzinger's at Yatala are now offering it. I wonder if Michael bought the recipie to Gottzingers with him? I now often stop at Yatala, on my way from Brisbane to the GC, and buy a 1/2 or full roll of DRP (a roll is 1.2kg), as well as other smallgoods.

Mrs Fields Peanut butter Choc Chip cookies

Soft & chewy style, sort of like a raw dough taste, honestly the best tasting cookie EVER !!!

nobody seems to stock them anymore. Although ive seen she has released some cookbooks over the years, the recipe might be in one of them?
