Don't know about puttin my ute on the boat. They pack em in like sardines from what I understand and I'm tentitive on how they stap it down.

I think the only issue would be getting it on to the boat, low vehicles may scrap over ramps. I would love to do Tassie cruise

We are looking into sponsorship from the spirit of tas. So maybe we could come some arrangement with them about storage and the trip over..Just a thought, another thought toll also bring over cars in secure containers??? something to check out. looking towards the 300-500 cars, so its going to be huge, great place to sell parts, advertise etc

We took my father's 75th aniv. Futura over to Tassie just when the new boats arrived.

Space between the cars on the new boat is not too bad and much like your average carpark size at the shopping centre. We copped a mild scratch on the rear piller from other passengers carring their luggage to their cabin. However, I saw no evidence of them actually strapping the cars down.

Would be a good trip as there are some fantastic roads in Tassie.

Well the guy that will probably be buying my ute is in a Bike Club/ Gang whatever.

His club is running a car and bike show (more like rods and choppers):

When: Saturday 29th Jan 2011
Where: 3 Acheson Place- Coburg
Cost: $20 entry plus $5 for a car or bike.

Fantastic looking day today. I think the management didnt really expect the standard of cars and great turn out of members that they got. The people walking around were quite impressed too. Not bad for a local run event. Seems that we could call on the SES in the future too. Well done for those who attended. It was good way of saying thanks to the Pasdcoe Vale Tavern for allowing us to use their function room.
Sorry Matt no pics from me, but others did take some.

Is the Club doing a display at the Sandown 500 this year? Some info from another site. We did display a few years ago at these events!

• On Track Parade Laps will be part of the Event Entertainment Package and Raceline will select and inform 35+ lucky owners on Saturday & Sunday morning and advise of the Parade Lap Times.
• Parade Laps are subject to available times and V8 Supercars programming. Parade Lap selection is made by Raceline staff.
• It is a condition of participating in the Parade Laps that Skids, Burnouts & Donuts are strictly prohibited.
