I work 2 days 2 nights then 4 off 12 hour shifts driving forklifts and trucks around a refinery. I love having the 4 days off after only working 4, don't have access to a computer to get on the forums though :(

got home about 45 minutes ago. im stuffed i need to sleep. but i need to run to the shops today so im just gonna stay up til they are open then go, then come home and crash lol

Yeah i was up till 3:00am... slept till 7:00am... went to a car show, back in bed by 1:30pm, up at 6:00pm for 8:00pm departure to work lol

9pm - 7:30am shift

It's going to be a long week.

Rofl, my Dad and brother used to run the Night shift at Mobile *spelling* Service Station there on the corner.... forever getting story's about some of them night working females lol.....Glad i never had to witness, or experience the smells.... bad enough with the i have to deal with in this job lol! :P

The joy of night shift in most places. Unlike the average job, watching a DVD still technically counts as working.

security lol, i started at 6 yesterday arvo, but got up at 7 in the morning, so ill be doing a 24 hour stint by the time i get home etc

that shift isnt too bad, if its constand you can get a rutene, i doo two days 6 too 6 then two nights 6 too 6 then four days off

Got a mate that works up in the mines outside of Mackay :P He works nights fitting air ducts into the mines lol, he spent 13 hours yesterday unrolling wire in the mud :P

Bah, thats nothing, try doing 9am-5:30pm and then doing a patrol car from 1830-0530,

Thankfully it only happens very rarely when there is issues with our patrol cars
