As for the driver, perhaps remove his hands to prevent him ever holding a steering wheel again? Too harsh?

The one thing that amazes me is that they keep referring to him as a teenager. Well at 18 I suppose he is, but it also deems him as an adult.

So maybe the courts may do the right thing and lock him up for a long time.

But being 18 it will be with in the big house and it will be interesting to see how he likes it in there.

Bend over please :

I think after a couple of nights he would be the type to start crying for mummy.

That stuff doesn't happen in the jail, well not in Balwyn max security or Loddern medium security prisons. The most violence inside is against rapists/crimes against women and children. Any of that would see you beat up for the rest of your sentence daily or maybe killed.

See Platinum I'm not as much of a (insert expletive here) as you might think I am, I just don't appreciate incompetence regardless of who you might be. If you read my posts you will see that I don't actually tar all coppers with the same brush.

From QLD transport website.

A vehicle approaching a roundabout must give way to any vehicles that are already on the roundabout.

Too all those that posted that the escort did not give way read the above road rule, it has been like that for as long as i can remember. considering the WRX has front on damage the escort was probably already in the round about having the right of way.

A pathetic display of humanity, that goes for alot of the posts on this thread too, truly disgusting.

Exactly, i think everyone is also supposed to be taught that you must slow to a safe speed to be able to stop if required, although in saying that, not many do..

Also the principle that the right of way is given, never taken.

In other words, give way to people - but don't just jump out if others should be giving way to you.

Of course I do. His lawyer stated that he's not a callous man, and if you can't believe a lawyer, who can you believe?

With a history like his as well as the nature of the accident and the reckless indifference to human life he displayed, it is indeed a tragedy that this low life scumbag was given parole. I guess the bottom-feeder lawyer will still defend this twat too even though he knows he is as guilty as hell. He should do everyone a favour and kill himself.

death is too good for this fool, he needs to spend life in prison, which is pretty much guaranteed now, armed robbery, evading police, assault on an officer, reckless driving, manslaughter, dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, as well as the 9 previous charges.

once he's caught, and it will be soon, he's going away for a long long time.

I third that as well!

I am also surprised that some people here have not come out and criticised the media's reporting of the this low life's latest escapades, claiming yet again just another sensationalist but not necessarily the facts beat up view by the media.

Me thinks that the angry residence original reaction to somebody more concerned about consuming Maccas while somebody else was left dying only meters near by originally reported by the media was now justified and not far from the truth. This low life knew even then that he was not permitted to drive by law and probably caused the death of an individual (pending an enquiry) by his own actions yet Maccas was more important to him at the time. I can't see how the media got the blame for reporting this! After all, the old saying "please don't shoot me, I am just the messenger" should apply here.

Back on topic, we are now seeing this individual's real character.

Very disturbing to know that their are people in this world who can take pleasure in destroying other peoples lives. I suppose that their are always these evil type of characters among us, but to sit and watch a rescue as though it is a movie at a cinema is a disgrace.
