Im missing where the reference to NOBMOBILE (Knobmobile???) and private school comes into it... my kids go to a private school, so in turn, does that mean my car is a "Knobmobile"?

Give the guy some credit for being honest, realising his mistake, showing some remorse and also trying to impart some awareness in others. Plenty of people make mistakes, its how we learn from them that makes the difference.

Totally agree. What he did was stupid, but at least he has learnt his lesson.

Really was there any need for that comment? I'll save you from thinking about that...the answer is NO! Who cares what car it is and who cares if he went to a private school, good luck to him if he did (at least he can spell). It just goes to show that no matter what the safety options the car has it is not going to stopm you from losing control of the vehicle. In response to the skid comment and the ABS, maybe think before posting.

And how did he get his license AFTER that effort, Daddy buy him a good lawyer? Money would have been better spent on car control lessons.

mate you obviusly have no idea what happens in a crash like that! ABS meens jack when you hit the dirt n go up an imbankment.
and yes 150m
i was the driver. and yes i go to a private school, and NO it doesnt make me better then anyone else.
yes i did it without a license, i was on my L's.
i didn't post these pics to get a bashing mate.
i was lucky not to kill anyone. and all i wanna see is people not making the same mistakes, hence why i am OFFERING to walk anyone through the crash site.
it will scare the sh!t out of most people.

spot on mate.
this is what happend.
i got distracketed, and yes i was carrying some serious speed. and i knew i had missed the entry line to the corner (if i was going to make it through at that speed) and as i was going round the corner, the car hit a bump, and bam, sideways.... looking at a vineyard then... yeah im not going to explain it any more unless you want me to (it's a very long story).

ok i think people have missed what actually happend in this photo.

the RED line is where the car went, all the other tire marks are from emergency vehicles getting petrol oil and god knows what other stuff on their tires.
hopefully this clears it up a bit.

if anyone wants any more info, DO NOT HESITATE to PM me.

Yer, My Dad killed his sister and almost killed my mum just after I was born. There was an ambulance on the road and my dad had to choose between hitting it and going over an embankment, he rolled the car and my aunt went through the windscreen. He was going too fast (country road, CAR RALLY thingo) and my mum had to lie for him at the inquest. I have had to live with his anger and bashings all my life and he is the reason I am like I am today, full of hate myself and soon to be in prison. Cars weren't very safe in 1970. That year had the highest road toll ever.

Yeah and that has what to do with you? Seriously you are sounding like a whinging *****.

Edit: I just read your latest post and I am sorry to hear that but please don't come on here playing the victim and absolutely giving it to someone who may just change someones mind about acting like a fool. We all have our own circumstances and our own tragedies. We all have a choice on who we are in the end no matter what has happened to us.

Had a Fairlane, bought a XR8 so i had to sell it. Advertised it at $850. The day the trading post came out a guy rang and wanted to look at it. On the way home from work to meet him a woman drove through a roundabout and T boned it. Not worth the $850 i wanted anymore :( Her insurance rekons its worth 3 grand. No complaints here ,,, WINNER!!!!

A Subaru right front guard.

Gasolane ,
Mate , you must have been nearly passed her when she turned , for her to "leave" her front guard behind your Prime-mover and at the front of the first trailer , I hope her conversation with her passenger was worth it .

On the lighter side (if there is one) , lucky she didn't turn a few seconds earlier , could have been disastrous .

XYSEDAN
I admire you , facing up to what happened and learning your lesson EARLY , and willing to impart your mistake with everyone . I hope you never have to go through this again and be a "model" driver . We need guy's your age to realise how quickly things can happen and try to convince your mates the same thing .

Now that is good timing. Why couldn't that ever happen to me when I was selling my EL. Lucky bugger.

This was shown at a Swedish bike show to show people what can happen if you make the wrong decisions. The bike was estimated to be travelling at 250ks and would have travelled over 300ft before the rider could make a decision on what to do. So reckon he had no time to even react. If showing this saved one life it would have been worth it.

i must say this thread is a real good leveler seeing all these crashes and the storys really makes you think twice about going that bit faster or doing that silly thing that you think is nothing 99% of the time then 1 day that 1% thing bites you hard

i would like to say congrats to all the people who has put there crashes up for everyone to see and being so honest about them as well

very scary some look and i must say i am so glad i haven't been in any accident's yet (touch wood) and i really hope it stays that way

once again thanks everyone for being so honest and even more so for admitting there mistakes cheers

that is not the first time i have seen you say that you're "soon to be in prison". i was actually going to ask why that is, but after seeing yet another of your negative posts, im just going to ask you to hurry things along a bit.

this was an accident i was in over a year ago, a few of the older members may remember, as i posted the story up. I was in the truck btw, the guy in the 4wd was speeding and wiped us out at well over hwy speeds on a corner.

Pics are pretty raw, so sorry if they offend.

pic i took with my phone at approx point of impact

then a mate giving us a lift home from the hospital that night, wrote his car off 2kms from the hospital

Thanks for your time ;)

yeah i am almost 17 and this is a real eye opener, i see ppl driving down streets sideways in my town who are on there p's and it shows how dangourous it actually is, i thought it looked cool but now and a few other bad things, i have learnt that speeding is really bad thing, i hear of ppl crusing at 220 of the clock and its just plain stupid, these people must have a death wish.. i appreaciate people who have put there time into putting there accident photo's up on here, so that people my age and even older, even teach them a lesson on how dangourous speeding ect is. much appreacated, expecially XYSEDAN you have tought me a very valuable lesson, and this even might save an accident or two for everyone in the future.
