Seriously, why would they go to air with that tax return? Maybe it was Pence on his morning jog, and he decided to slip the pages into the journo's letterbox.

It's going to be an interesting few days.

Comey is going to say whether there is an ongoing investigation into Trump tomorrow. If he says not, and combined with this "leak" I would imagine a lot of the heat will go out of the anti trump people

Be interesting for sure.

Tend to agree - If it was a return from 2016 I'd be interested... Not fake, but certainly irrelevant news.

Why are Trumps returns irrelevant?

Considering his refusal to release any of his financial dealings, I think this is VERY important.

The only reason he is refusing to release his returns is because he has something to hide.

Alex Jones is a conspiracy Theorist. Dice is an opportunist Troll - but he rolls with facts the majority of the time.

Throw up some links where all the points he made were wrong in that video.

In truth they are irrelevant. In businesses as complex as his from both a tax and business structure point of view there will be plenty of fodder for his enemies. Things change for a variety of reasons and decision made at the time for sound reasons can look shocking in hindsight and they all have tax implications.

As Kerry Packer said the government don't spend it wisely enough to justify giving them more.

Lefties never get that business involves risking money on calculated bets/investments. Not every investment works but over a basket of decisions the idea is to make a good return similar to shares.

have fun picking his returns apart but they are irrelevant. The most relevant part of the puzzle is that he is still in business. Just think about how many companies go bust over the years its actually a lot higher than you think.

That doesn't stop him from releasing his tax returns, though. You could probably argue it wouldn't be a smart thing to do if he is indeed being audited. The one that was leaked had 'client copy' stamped on it - and no information about the source of his income or who he's in debt to (which is the important part - especially recently). I'd say the source is likely Trump, himself.

It's not about his business, it's about how much tax he paid.
Hilary and every candidate prior has released their tax returns, why is Donald so special?

Don't lie.

It's about digging into his business dealings to find some fault that the Dems can make an issue of.

Before I begin my little spiel, George Soros is a scumbag of the highest order.

Regardless of whether one is supportive of the new president or is opposed to him, the entire episode is indicative of a governmental system so fundamentally broken, it is beyond repair. In the entire history of the US, there has never been a president that has been so thoroughly poo-pooed and lambasted by the mainstream media. There has never been a president that has been the subject of so much subterfuge and malice at the hands of the IC. There has never been a president that has been subjected to so much vitriol at the hands of the various lobbies.

The office of the POTUS prior to the last election was held in very high regard, irrespective of who was sitting in the Oval Office chair. Nixon was never subjected to such scorn and derision, and he was impeached; Carter was impotent as president and he was afforded the dignity of being the holder of the highest office in the land; Dubya and his cronies out and out lied to the world regarding Iraq and it's non-existent WMD's (and became very rich as a result) and he too was shown the respect due to a leader of a nation. Yet this bloke has barely been in the job sixty days and he's being crucified on all fronts.

I do not disagree but you know what they say; 2 Corinthians 9:6, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” "Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster,” says King Solomon (Proverbs 22:8). “You have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil,” says the prophet (Hosea 10:13). “They will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes,” says Wisdom in Proverbs 1:31.

Looks like a setback with the Federal court ruling today.

Funny that the Judge did take into consideration comments from Trump re Intention of the ban and used that as part of his ruling.

In that case it might be a warning to Trump to choose words more carefully or better yet, keep his mouth zipped.

I'm neither a supporter nor a derider of his, my point was that the media and the various lobbies and special interest groups, coupled with the military industrial complex have done a stand-up job of destroying the office of the POTUS, which had stood for 230 years.

A totalitarian state is close, and old mate Trump won't be the "dear leader"...

Trump isn't an ideologue and has been on the political scene for 2 seconds (1.5 years). So no its not one bit ironic because what you assume is subterfuge, malice and vitriol is just Trump being Trump.
