But it's for the benefit of everyone on the planet, and without the internet and social media it wouldn't normally be a problem, like the protesters in Melbourne recently, or a month ago, the blind leading the blind, all brought to one rallying point because they were "told" to, not because each and everyone thought it up themselves, but they were easily led, led by someone with an agenda! So many people would die if we listened to clever sayings like this and acted differently.

Independance day wasn't a sci-fi movie because of the aliens, it was a fantasy movie because people never work together to solve a global issue.
Always some that can't see past their nose, get influenced by conspiracy theories, or just get stubborn because they don't like being told what to do. F'em, go find a flat earth without 5g to live in if you don't want to be part of this society. On second thought, definitely do NOT do that! |

Fear not. If it gets a bit out of hand, we can rely on our murican friends to save us...

I like Candace owens , she says a lot I agree with, but there seems to be more than a few American commentators going over the top with how they describe what’s been happening here. She says she has family in qld? We’ve had practically no restrictions compared to nsw or vic, not sure how someone could be suffering that much here. I’ve noticed they’re taking different rules from different times of the pandemic, and from different parts of the country and just mixing them all up in one big exaggerated statement as if the whole of Australia is under all of those rules since March ‘20. |

Just like they think (and most of the world) that if you visit Australia, as soon as you step off the plane you get attacked and killed by the wildlife. Depending on the country I kindly remind them that more people die on their roads in 24 hours than all our Shark/spider/scorpion/crocodile/snake/blue ring octopus/jellyfish fatalities combined per annum. You have been given a choice, take that choice, and enjoy ! BTW: it seems your “Wacko mates” want to invade Australia. So you’re an Anvaxxer ? Enjoy. It was great to see Antivaxxer nutcases being turned around at the surf coast hotel we go to, because they couldn’t come in. |

It’s frustrating that all the various state/territory “Covid-19 road maps” are not collated on a federal government website.
It’s also frustratingly hard to find a NSW government website map of Greater Sydney that has some detail, like roads that border it. They just seem to be coloured overlays with an outline you need to guess at. |

Same problem here. Was planning a trip to Kilmore but cant confirm if that is regional. Different maps show slightly different boundaries. Too confusing. Ah it's only another 8 or so days.

On that American drag racing forum I am on I was often called a 'sheep' for following what the medical experts and Gvmt was saying, but I sat back and had a think about it, and decided that the side with the contrary view to mine were 'sheep' as well some, most were following Trump blindly with the 'stolen election' and COVID, vaccines, etc, so I started calling them sheep, it didn't take long for the whole sheep thing to stop

Some roadmaps, current as of this morning:
Queensland NSW ACT (A bit messy, page-wise) Victoria Tasmania SA - not tabled yet WA (Essentially incomplete) Northern Territory (Not a PDF, slightly scrambled) Unrelated, among the coolest heads graced by hair oil. Last edited by Citroënbender; 24-10-2021 at 08:05 AM. |

Youse blokes think you have problems working out boundaries and mask-wearing, but think about us poor cousins in Central Queensland.
There has been no change to our local lifestyles thanks to a trigger-happy regime in Brisbane bent on Covid elimination. The only southerners we see, except for those locked here indefinitely because they can't return home, are sports stars, their wives, girlfriends and other hangers-on. When youse dumb ugly Covid infested heathens start invading us in a few weeks, my bet is we will be in lockdown for Christmas due to one case of Covid in Rocky. I am in the danger group - I am old and fat - but I still have my stunning good looks. I think my wife keeps me well feed to stop the chicks hitting on me. A failed strategy of course. |
