Why is it wog parents (mine for example) have no idea how to cut into a phone conversation? When they are talking to somebody, if I want them to pass on a message, they have no idea how to do it. I look at them and make hands signs indicating I'd like them to pass a message. Do you think they have any idea? Like "one moment, my son is trying to tell me something"? No! Conversely when the opposite occurs and I am talking to somebody on the phone, their attempts to pass a message involves yelling over the top of me in the hope the other person hears them! WTF! I can't have two conversations as once. Wait for me to tell the other person "hey can you wait a second, my mother or father want to say something". It is not rocket science.

Why is it...........when you buy something online, it's expected that a review should be part of the exchange. I'm happy to provide feedback here and there, but if I ignore (delete) a review request, I clearly don't want to leave a review and therefore don't want to receive multiple requests for me to do one. I paid my money, I received my item, END OF STORY!
And Autobarn, if you send me one more request, I will be leaving a review, but it won't be one you will be wanting!

Why is it............ American's still like chrome wheels on modern cars.
Chrome wheels on modern day cars is the very definition of tacky!

Do they still make steel wheels there?
Am sure it's a weight thing though, so what do you suggest a powder coated colour?... That car in pic definitely does not suit them wheels, even powder coated they are a very " uneasy on the eye " design. What would you put on it? Cheers a Billy |

I do notice those 19" wheels I posted above are no longer offered on the Ford US Build and Price section, they are now gloss black. https://shop.ford.com/build/mustang/...KAA.GT.COU.%5D These are the wheel options available to US buyers, thankfully not chrome - And what wheels would I put on it................. I also love the pewter coloured version too.........

Considering I waited 25 minutes to collect two small items, I don't think they really want my feedback.

Why is it that some dog owners do the responsible thing, pick up their dog's poo and dispose of it responsibly, some dog owners don't pick up the poo and other dog owners pick it up in a plastic bag but then drop it elsewhere?

…There’s no consistency in bureaucracy around death.
Two weeks after the old fellow dies, I get a letter from the motor registry saying his mobility parking pass has been revoked and could we please return it ASAP. OTOH Centrelink pays the carer’s allowance over fourteen weeks post-death as a normal arrangement. Juxtaposed with Robodebt it’s an interesting contrast. |

Why is it that some folk hate cats so much, I don't hate dogs, I love dogs but I would never keep one unless it was on acreage, or I lived suburban and walked it for an hour everyday?
That's why I prefer a cat, and a tabby at that, I have yet to see a rottweiler or shepherd go behind a TV cabinet and catch a mouse, lol, they'd wreck the joint! I think horses for courses, I like both but chose the cat, a rescue. Cheers Billy |

Why is it.....they can have a presenter on the TV lotto set, saying they can't broadcast lotto draw live on tv but it will be drawn under supervision off camera due to galloping Covid. Imagine close to the same amount of people involved in either exercise.

Only people who don't understand cats would make such a statement. My cat spends large parts of the day with or near me. Often I can't go to the toilet without it wanting to follow me inside.
