Finally got this bastard of a thing done - started in early December. Waited twice for two different sets of missing bags. Went through part four last night and there were a couple of pieces also missing from that! Had them as spares luckily. Love how it looks, but it was a terrible building experience. Yes i tucked the black/grey part back into the bumper, it had popped out when i took this pic.

I enjoyed that build if im honest.
Thats a bit crap re missing parts.
In all the kits i have, ive had one bit missing but i think it may have fell into my spare. Lego sent one out no issues, only took a week or so.

Keep an eye on the Lego website, stock goes to zero, then they restock. I wanted to buy the Thor hammer, was out of stock, then in the middle of the day came back with a purchase limit of 15 (??), then out of stock, and on repeat. Ended up buying it on Tuesday as a birthday present for my sister, tracking shows it should be delivered tomorrow.

Another great source for buying Lego is the AG Certified Store. You don't have to put up with the purchase limits of some items that the official store sets, downside is that postage isn't free.

https://lego.bricksmegastore.com/

For the McLaren, showing as in stock at K-mart, and at $239. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/leg...-42141/4081821

Knocked this together in 4.5hr's

Such a cool kit , agitor turns with a crank handle or you engage a selector and it spins as you push it along... Pistons move up and down, real differentials and twin steer...

Wish these kit's were around when i was a kid !

The Formula 1 car seems to be a reasonable price but i just don't like the look of it, so i won't be buying it.

Threw this together in just 3hr's, was quite an enjoyable build

Im having some good Lego withdrawals.
Sadly for me there isnt a technic set currently available that i dont have that id buy, last was D11.
I think i need to buy a few more mack anthems and build some trucks from those, sadly they arent cheap either.
