Can someone photoshop a bulge onto my baby for me?? I so keen for one!!

As long as its a ford! I can't see it being rice!

My car is a V8 I feel I am allowed to have one.

Mine's real and needed = NICE (not RICE).
In my view Holden took that design from the XB GT/GS and XC GS/GXL cars.

It all depends on what car you put the bulge on.

If an XR6T owner put a bulge on their car, could that car be considered a sleeper??? : Jokes people. Remember I am putting a V8 in my car and not a turbo.

Thumbs up

I think "Rice" is a pretty harsh word, I like the look, design "fault" or not. Rice to me is a Japanese or Likewise car with modifications which are overkill and are all on looks rather than the heart of the car - the engine. There is a line between Rice and Customization. New wheels or a bonnet isn't what I would consider rice, merely customization. Decals, neons, 10ft wings, 23" chrome wheels that spin and $55K on custom interior on a $10K car, that to me is rice.

Bulge hoods have been around for years as have Shakers. My Challenger has a bulge hood variation and I haven't heard any complaints and it's the complete opposite from rice. I put a BA style bulge on the TS50 and decided not to put decals on it and IMO (which is all the matters) it suits the car and lifts the front end up nicely. Looks just as good waiting in line to pay for gas at the petrol station as it does from the cockpit. Ps: The number plate surround is from the previous owner I just haven't had time to put a plain black surround on yet. Why tell you this? People get too anal about the smallest things around here sometimes.........

;)

Not on a BOSS it hasn't .....

It is RICE on just about anything else - the exception being a modified car that needs the headroom.
Too true.
But I do think it can be justified as a mod to improve the look of a car. Under this idea that the Bulge is RICE would make anyone who owns any ford of exterior car enhancement (Rims, side skirts, decals) Rice.
I treat it case by case.

The bulge on any car other than a Boss Motor isn't a rice mod, it's a sleeper mod...

I personally think if you have got plenty of KW under the hood and a tough looking car then Bulge is OK , but if you are all show no go then its rice ,

A full house N/A BA I6 would be ok for bulge but if its just a riced up stocker NO!
