Wonder what the green one which is actually plated GTHO would be worth if this went for 2 million?

2 million sounds on the money. Its not everyday you get a chance to buy a piece of history.

To who ever bought the Phase 4. I wish them well.
I hope that the new owner is like the old owner. And lets the public view the car at Car Shows and the All Ford Day. And Not pushed away in some one's private collection. |

Tough one to pick...the one that just sold was largely unrestored, the plated HO has been rebuilt, that could effect value.

The one just sold is not what it was when it left Lot 6. It was a standard GT and has been "updated" significantly since. Australian Muscle Car magazine ran a few very good articles on the phase 4s in the early days that clarified each of the four cars and corrected some mis truths that were around from the 80's.

Imagine being at a car show and every man and his dog standing around the XA in awe whilst the Stinger is all by its lonesome in the carpark..

Especially anyone that has an F1 car from the 30's that would be obliterated by a Kia Stinger. May as well just take it straight to simsmetal. |

For one, you have a better chance with the Gt of it actually appreciating in value compared to the Stinger, which is far more likely to depreciate.

Can't understand why Kia didn't come up with this marketing ploy themselves....
