That's not a bad double dipping fee.

To who ever bought the Phase 4. I wish them well.
I hope that the new owner is like the old owner. And lets the public view the car at Car Shows and the All Ford Day. And Not pushed away in some one's private collection.

Tough one to pick...the one that just sold was largely unrestored, the plated HO has been rebuilt, that could effect value.

The one just sold is not what it was when it left Lot 6. It was a standard GT and has been "updated" significantly since. Australian Muscle Car magazine ran a few very good articles on the phase 4s in the early days that clarified each of the four cars and corrected some mis truths that were around from the 80's.

Geez the secret is out now. Every classic car owner better get rid of it quickly, cause it's soon going to be scrap metal money.

Especially anyone that has an F1 car from the 30's that would be obliterated by a Kia Stinger. May as well just take it straight to simsmetal.

I'm guessing you don't understand why some people spend a lot of money on antiques either then? Collectors would rarely be interested in the functionality of the item.

For one, you have a better chance with the Gt of it actually appreciating in value compared to the Stinger, which is far more likely to depreciate.

The Stinger probably isn't even going to make it to a second generation cause it hasn't sold very well. One of the Kia execs admitted that if it doesn't start really selling in the US then it's most likely they won't be doing another one in future.

Even here it hasn't really done that well.
