And the mods continue! King spring ultralows are not low enough so Ive got another set of SSL's (ultralows in the mail but compressed 1.5inch more defect city here I come!

Ok well Today is the day, I should get it back from the tuners (if there finished) very very keen, Ive been bugging em all week but they are putting in the hard yards and doing a dam good job 2
Then its straight down 2 my workshop to put in the new rear springs

just went for a run then, Lol u cant use 100% throttle or it will spin from 0 up to 100kms just took my mate who owns a LS3 for a run in it, and his words where "Im sorry for putting s%$t on u and I think I now need a blower" After all this time and I have reached my goal of 400+rwhp and I have to say im very happy :

So what power did you end up with & on what boost?

Also, with your springs, what did it lower the car by?? What size wheels you got?

415rwhp 959nm on 14psi power is on at like 2500rpm, had a quick stint with my mates LS3 with exhuast and tune + cai and left it for dead while wheel spining past him, got some ultralows compressed 1.5inch, wheels are 17s
I really cant belive how hard it pulls, I need 2 put a full exhaust on it and ditch the stock unit.

Well done Simon.....its a great feeling when you get in the car for the first time and go for a squirt down the road. Only a month ago after i got my combo finaly right and went for a squirt down the road, i came back and the knees were a bit weak, and what a rush. Some nice figures mate, now go and enjoy it.

Has a few little bugs that need 2 be fixed up, thinking of having the boost taken down because It just spins.....and spins.......and spins, but its dam good

ya wouldn't have the dyno sheet by any chance simon. well down mate. The spinning problem can be fixed with decent rubber and you. Hope it is what you want and for a salesmans car it goes really good. Maybe i might have to use 3rd next time i go round you. Well done Mate. :

P.s also were you runnning 95 or 98 octane and can you get more than 15psi out of the std turbo.

Was running 98, yeah the turbo can take more then 15psi but on a BA mk1 bottom end I wouldnt haha, getting the hang of it, best 2 stay in trip mode and ease the throttle on to control boost and not give it 100% straight out of the box. Was tuned with the standard BOV and was loosing boost due to its weak spring, have a better unit in the mail and once on I will gain a few pounds back and get more power ;)

Remember it is only a 6 : . Nah, would love to c it get some good figures tho i think you need to get it to handle better and brake better before another upgrade. There are some 6 spot brembos in the for sale section atm or i have a mate that is upgrading his AP racing calipars if ya interested. Also a nice set of wheels too.

Yeah ive found a good set of semi slicks I want to pick up, ive tweaked around with the rear end the past few weeks to help keep its **** on the ground

Moved this from the Autobarn thread. Didn't want to hijack that thread.

You need to think about either build another motor to go into it or take it off the road and build it up. No use having a 600hp motor if it cannot steer or brake. I have a 500hp motor atm but doesn't get drivin unless by me or the wife and when the new cam goes in it will be 600hp and only me will drive it and it restricts the car going places or how far.

Check out a good engine builder too for advice on what to do.
